Second Coming of Gibbs Must End

I'm tired of walking on egg shells around the subject. If Gibbs had any real respect for what he accomplished in the past, he'd leave the second the last games over. I'm also tired of every sports reporter in this city treating him like a god. When he bought in Al Saunders to call the offensive plays, giant flares should have been sent up. He's here for a pay check. That's it. Those ''Glory Days'' are long gone. It's time to wipe the slate clean [AGAIN] and start from scratch. Lil' Danny needs to STOP hiring names and start hiring REAL talent. YOUNG talent that can develop around what's there now.

I heard a former player say on the radio the other day that the reason players want to come to the Redskins is for the big payday that Snyder puts out not for the chance of a Super Bowl trophy. Kudos on your post, same thing might need to be done in Dallas.

OK SNOOPY..B4 U SEND ANYONE TO THE GUILLETTINE..THINK ABOUT THIS..WE ARE A YEAR AWAY FROM 10-6. BRUNELL MAY BE SLOW BUT HE CAN'T THROW THE BALL TO HIMSELF.I FOR ONE FELT A DISTURBANCE IN THE FORCE WHEN SAUNDERS WAS BROUGHT IN. IF HE DIDN'T GET THE KEYS IN KC, WHY DID HE KET THE KEYS TO DC? GIBBS IS A SIMPLE MAN. HE DOES WHAT HE THINKS IS RIGHT. CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF THO..THERE ARE OTHERS THAT CALL SHOTS AS WELL. WE WANTED HIS HEAD WHEN WE DIDN'T PASS THE BALL. WE WANTED HIS HEAD WHEN BRUNELL COULDN'T THROW A SIMPLE OUT ROUTE.DC FANS R FICKLE. IF ANYONW SHOULD BE THROWN TO THE DOGS IT SHOULD BE SNYDER, THEN SAUNDERS,THEN THE D-COORDINATOR.

Gibbs needs to take the team in another direction. the crash and burn off seasons have to end. The cook is not the problem, the ingredients are. too few guys who want to play ball and too many who want to "boogie' on the field in between plays whan they have missed takcles or been beaten for a scoring pass. I will give Joe his 5 years but demand that he start coaching and stop being a CEO.
