     First of all everyone can wish me Happy Blogday, thats right 1 year as a blogger, yippey, okay enough of that. Anyway I decided to start a list of what I think are some of the greatest upsets in sports history since 1970. I know, I know cutting it at 1970 leaves out  a lot of great upsets but this my game and we will play by my rules.LOL.  Here are the rules you can only pick 5 upsets, everyone else will rate the strength of that persons choices and offer reasons why they might agree or disagree, and then that person would give his or her 5 choices. So here are mine--- 1980- America's Hockey win over Russia, Buster Douglas over Tyson, never saw that one coming. Chaminade over Virginia in college basketball, App. State over Michiganin college football and Ali over Foreman in boxing. I ive reason for my picks after I get some feedback.

I think the voters for the NFL's Hall of Fame should be euthanize, thats right, put to sleep. There is no justification for picking Micheal Irvin over Art Monk. This is not to say that Irvin doesnt belong in the Hall, He just doesnt belong there before Art Monk. Lets look at the facts and the stats, Micheal Irvin ( Rec 750, yds 11904, y/r 15.9, td 65, rushing yds 6, Superbowls 3), Monk ( Rec *940 an NFL record at the time, yds 12721, y/r 13.5, td 68, rushing yards 332, Superbowls 4). Now you voters could say stats don't mean everything, I agree, lets look at off the field contributions to the respect and honor of the game these two men hold so dear. Micheal Irvin arrested several times for drugs, illegal drugs. Art Monk lets see, um sssss um , okay I've got one, he once yell at a person to get out of the way of a moving car, I'm not sure if he broke the law but I had to come up with something. Honor, integrity, professionalism, sportsmanship and a love of and for the game. All of these qualities are what we look for but is also missing in todays athlete. Who would you want your children to emulate? I take it back you shouldn't be euthanize, your already brain dead.-----COP
