I work at the hospital were they brought in that police officer.that ronnie white ran down. If you can picture half of your  face and your brains running out of you head, do you think you could feel for the person who did this to him. Were was ronnie whites mom when this happened to the cop, and saying how sorry she was.

There was plenty of tv at the hospital that day, why wait till something hapens to your own and looking to sue. Ronnie had a long record of crime and was doing a crime when he ran over this cop. Im sorry, i believe a eye for a eye.

Mr. White's family is doing what most family's of criminals do... they show up when money is to be had, the smell of a pending law suit was incentive enough for them to step up and claim their family unity. Where were they when he was committing all those other crimes? Were they out apologizing and paying restitution to the victims on behalf of their THUG family member? My prayers are for the police officer's family.

Yes, you are so right ronniejen. Once again, my prayers to the Findley family. It won't be an easy job for his widow to raise two small children by herself.

Let's face facts. Ronnie White was a criminal.
A young man whose chosen path was to victimize others. Far too common in today's society. If that's something his family can take pride in so be it. Wrongful death worthy of a law suit providing money to a family that obviously did a poor job of rearing a child to be a working and responsible member of society; not in my humble opinion. Richard Findley was an unselfish man who dedicated his life to serving the community as a police officer and volunteer fireman. Ronnie White's selfishness robbed a woman of her husband and two daughters of their father.
Who should I feel sorry for, one who lost husband, father, friend and a dedicated public servant or a family whose maggot son chose to kill rather than give himself up in the commission of a crime.

Cpl. Richard Findley, I salute you.

Everyone seems to have lost focus on what has happen. One or all the correctional officers have just become criminals like Ronnie White. Officer Findley and White are dead. It's a traggedy for the officers family, however, it's even worse for the correctional(s) officer that decided to take this mans life. What affect do you think this is going to have on their families, friends and the correctional institution as a whole. I ask every person that praise this act: are you willing to step in and support this person children if they have any, or help him/her do the time that is going to be placed on him/her once they are convicted? No, everyone will be gone on to the next hot topic. Sadly enough, the family of Ronnie White will get paid and we as tax payers will be the one's paying for it. As a law enforcement officer, I feel that the correctional officers actions are worse then Ronnie White. I don't think he woke up that morning and say; I'm going to kill a officer today. This man obviously had issues like many african americn men growing up without a positive male roll model in their life. On the other hand, the correctional officer thought about what they were going to do and acted on that thought. Look at the BIG picture....
