I just saw in the news that Maryland is making some serious budget cuts. However, nowhere did I hear any cuts at the adminsitrative level. Is the governor or his cabinet taking a pay cut?..Are they required to be furloughed as was proposed and I think passed in Virginia?..Why must all of the cuts be for those at the bottom of the totem pole?..If they really cared about managing the budget, then I would think that those at the top would set an example and take a cut in their pay as well. And not only do I believe it should be at the local level, how about the president, vice president and those in Congress taking a pay cut?..Yeah, I know..In my dreams..
