Not only do I notice this during the Olympics, the same thing happens when they interview people locally. And with all due respect to any reporter or anchor who may be reading this board, some of you seem to not be able to think on your feet, ad lib or just pay attention to the person you're interviewing. It appears that if it's not written on a cue card or teleprompter, you have no clue what to ask. I've seen too many reporters ask the same question over and over again after the person has answered them and act as though it's the first time they've asked it. I realize that you have to have some sort of structure to the broadcasts and not expect the anchors/reporters to just ad lib, but hey, pay attention to what you're asking, listen to the people you're interviewing and do a little research. At least then, we'd think that you actually have a brain.
