Frederick county is holding hearings regarding making English the official language for that county. One objection to this is the increase in the number of Hispanics to the country who do no speak English. And to accomodate this part of the polulation, I think we all have seen signs, documents, etc. in both English as well as Spanish. However, there's a cost associated with having to have this done. Should we have street signs, documents, books, pamphlets, etc. in both English and Spanish?. And what about those who come here from other countries who don't speak English?. Are we going to accomodate them by providing the aforementioned in French, Chinese, Indian, etc.?..What say you?
