Where is the connection in two incidents? What can we learn about ourselves from these two incidents? Can we say that we have failed as human being to show our intelligence?

An eighty-year-old man gets fired from his job for saying "Nappy headed BLEEP" in the air. The whole world gets crazy over it! To some people, it seemed like the end of the world!

No, I never thought and said that Imus must have been an angel to say this! But, my question is where are those people now who were offended by that statement? Where are those people who thought it was disgusting and insulting to say to the women? Where is the respect for womanhood now?

Vanished!

The criminal will have decent meals, watch TV, and exercise - all at my tax dollars!

(A talker vs. a doer, the criminal! Talk about poetic justice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Can I conclude that people are more excited about "Black & White World" in America than actually destroying a childhood, two lives (the girl and her future baby), and the victim’s family members’ sanity?

priveye, where the hell are you man? I need you. Please bring some mirrors! Distribute them accordingly!

You asked: Where is the connection in two incidents?

There is no connection with the two incidents AT ALL.... One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Shouldn't even be in the same sentence. This is not a race issue, gender issue, religious issue... please let's not make it into one. Imus got what he deserved, the rapest got less than he deserved but will answer to a power higher than the courts.

The connection in the two is that they both got punished. Rape is not a capitol punishment charge so he can't be put to death. They wouldn't give stronger sentences for men who molest babies, so why would you think that they would give him such a harsh sentence.

You are absolutely right newsbuggy, it’s not a race issue or a gender issue!

I was wandering why Brian or Bob didn’t start a blog about this! Thank you newsbuggy.

Call me a stupid, stupid, stupid guy!

Agreed Newsbuggy. It would take a fool to draw a connection between the two incidents! What does this person think?...Everytime there is a crime reported on the news that Black people are going to be up-in-arms about it?

Even the fact that this persons starts a blog like this is partly RACIST!

Littlehitaiti, you are totally wrong about me being partly racist. You must apologize to me. I am not partly racist at all! I am, for God’s sake a totally racist person. You got to hear how I talk about the people of all races. I don’t spare anyone. One day I will tell you how many types of n****s are there. Yes, I use this word all the time and to everybody in the world. Like I said, I don’t spare anyone.

I am a fool and I don’t have any doubt about that. I have a question for you since you are so smart. How come smart people like you don’t do anything about the Black kids, who are always at the bottom in the county exam? Do you even know this? Do you even care to know this?

Yes, I am a racist pig!

Kelly, I am also surprised that no one else called me that! I don’t mind to be called a racist though. I have been called way worse than that. As long as I get my point acrossed. I also know that I may be a racist, but I gladly signed my child’s (a 4th grader then) form when she gave up her lunch time to teach math to the kids at her school. She waited until she comes back home in the afternoon to eat. I didn’t mind because I knew those kids needed help and I wanted my child to grow up with the mind set to help others instead of crying and complaining about other people!

The funny thing about me is the Blacks probably think I am White and the Whites probably think that I am a Black person! I wonder what color I am! Hmmmm!

Thats when you know you got your point across. When people start calling you a racist its because they don't have anything smart and productive say about the subject at hand

Significantly insignificant. Sam I am! My favorite game is “ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS”. Don’t laugh...I am old! I did not say I am wise. I like to play this game...Sam I am! I always ask this question, “Do you want to play with me?” Would you? Do you like to play? Oh...I forgot... it’s about me! All about me! In today’s world...me...me...me... GET BACK TO YOURSELF! Sorry...here...please don’t hit me! Please... I live in Maryland. I like to write if I can. I talk to myself a lot. Most of it is nonsense! Really! We will talk. Sam I am!
