Here are the rest of my picks, posthaste.
New York Giants at Philadelphia (-3.0). It's do or die time for the Iggles, and No. 5 is back at the helm. The question for the Giants: who will show up, Good Eli or Bad Eli? Pick: Eagles, 27-20
Dallas (-10.5) at Detroit. Welcome back, Motor City Kitties. We missed ya! Pick: Cowboys, 31-20
Miami at Buffalo (-7.0). The Dolphins are pathetic losers well on their way to making a little history. The Bills really aren't that much better, but at least they have a few wins and a shot at the playoffs. Pick: Bills, 21-6
St. Louis at Cincinnati (-9.5). The Rams' offense is lousy, ranked 25th in the league. The Bengals' defense is horrible, ranked 29th. Anyone for a 3-3 tie? Pick: Bengals, 24-16
Cleveland (-3.0) at New York Jets. The Jets crushed the Dolphins last week, scoring 40 in the process. The Browns may yet allow that many points again, but unlike Miami, they have the firepower to keep up. Pick: Browns, 33-20
Kansas City at Denver (-7.0). After last week's debacle against the Raiders, Broncos players spent the work week making tee time reservations for January. Pick: Chiefs, 20-17
Oakland at Green Bay (-10.5). During the Packers' 10-day layoff, QB Brett Favre's injured body parts were replaced with cybernetic implants. Pick: Packers, 27-14
Indianapolis (-9.0) at Baltimore. To avoid the officiating controversy and whining that plagued the Ravens this past week, Coach Brian Billick issued a statement enumerating all of the offenses the refs will allegedly commit in this week's game. Pick: Colts, 40-13
Carolina at Jacksonville (-10.5). Useless factoid of the week: there are no real panthers native to the Carolinas, and no real jaguars living wild in Florida. Pick: Jaguars, 33-17
Minnesota (-8.5) at San Francisco. The Vikes are due for another egg-laying. Pick: 49ers, 21-20
Pittsburgh at New England (-10.5). Some no-name defensive back "boldly" guaranteed a victory for the Steelers. Trouble is, he may not be too far off. Pick: Steelers, 20-17
Arizona at Seattle (-7.0). Even if they lose, the Cards will be in a good position to win a wild card berth. I can't believe I just typed that. Pick: Seahawks, 22-14
Tampa Bay (-3.0) at Houston. QB Jeff Garcia is out again, but it won't matter. Pick: Buccaneers, 17-13
San Diego at Tennessee (NL). If I were a betting man, I wouldn't touch this game with a down marker. Pick: Titans, 20-14
New Orleans (-3.0) at Atlanta. Michael Vick will learn his fate before kickoff. Not that it really has any bearing on the game or anything. Pick: Saints, 28-14
