No More on the Eastern Shore?

I am ignorant to the workings of networks and the affiliates, but I can tell you when I tuned in to see my "trusty" Fox 5 DC the other night you were gone. Gone like the summer crowds down here in Ocean City. Gone like the low housing inventory and yes, GONE like a sellers market.

What happened, after years of my last daily connection to DC? After all the only other news resources were the "local" stations (production values leave a lot to be desired) and Batimore (enough said, I'm from DC...no offense) stations.

Now, I tune in and its an imposter...Fox21..a "local" station pretending to be Fox5...hhmmm?? Somthings fishy. I want THE FOX 5 back, not the imposter.

Oh, well I'll always have the internet.

I am a native of Silver Spring, Md where I attended Montgomery Blair High School and then George Washington University. I spent every summer of my youth in Ocean City at our families beach house. I got "salt in my viens" and decided that the beach life was more appealing than than life on 495...so I made the move permanent in 1992. The best of both worlds in my opinion, I live at the beach, but I am still firmly planted to my roots in the DC area. My brother lives in the city, and I visit often. My career is real estate, specifically Marylands Beautiful Eastern Shore, from the beaches of Ocean City to the rural appeal of Pocomoke and Snow Hill. This I enjoy due to the constant fluidity of the market and the people, and clients that I meet and continually interact with.
