This truly says it all......

What if John McCain were a former president of the Harvard Law Review?                   What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?              What if McCain were still married to the first woman he said 'I do' to?                             What if Obama were the candidate who left his first wife after she no  longer measured up to his standards?

What if Michelle Obama were a wife who not only became addicted to pain killers, but acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?
What if Obama were a member of the Keating-5?
What if McCain were a charismatic, eloquent speaker?

If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are?

This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative  qualities in another when there is a color difference.

You are The Boss... which team would you hire?
With America facing historic debt, 2 wars, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc.

Educational Background: Obama:  Columbia University - B.A. Political Science with a  Specialization in International Relations.
Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude
Biden: University of Delaware - B.A. in History and B.A. in Political Science.            Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor > > (J.D.)
vs.

McCain: United States Naval Academy - Class rank: 894 of 899                                         Palin: Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester
North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
                    Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester
University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in Journalism
Now, which team are you going to hire ?

PS: What if Barack Obama had an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter....

Amen, Amen, Amen!

I am getting really tired of others suggesting that we (blacks) are supporting Obama because of his race, why can't these same folks open their eyes and see that this GOP ticket is not for AMERICA, it does nothing to promote country first, if it did, then maybe John McCain would have used common sensed instead of disdain for Obama during the debates. Racism is going to play a humongous part in this year's election, and those that believe otherwise, have serious issues within themselves. Just look at the two congresswoman of late, one from the republican party who thinks the Democrats are trying to do to Hispanics what they were accused of doing to blacks in terms of expecting handouts and welfare. In addition, the other a Minnesota stating that blacks are responsible for this latest crisis, now I ask you, who is really out of touch with this society, America as a whole or just the ignorance of some?

What ifs ok heres a few
What if McCain had a racist pastor that said blacks were the cause of all the ills.
What if McCain was the number 2 man to recieve the most money from Fannie and Freedy.
What if McCain smiled when he said he was for the second amendment but really wasnt.
What if McCain voted presant most of the time he was a state senator.
What if McCain only had 147 days sitting as a senator and was out running for President the rest of the time.
What if, yeah theres a lot of what ifs and race to me has nothing to do with it. NOTHING
I just dont trust a man that has 0 experiance on anything to be pres. not VP but POTUS sorry cant do it.

Whordawg:

If this campaign had two blacks running for the white house instead, would you vote for either?

I am miffed at how others will push aside the same issues that they have deemed of Obama when they matter to the other candidate. What if this election was about the issues, how would you vote, as it is easy to ascertain that many will be voting based on color and it is amazing that others thinks its the black race, well I beg to differ. For years now, blacks had no other choice but to vote for the best candidates as up until now, they were all WHITE MALES, now really, who has the issue with voting for a candidate based on color?

Sure but I would have to do my research just like I do now. I dont choose a candidate by the color of his skin or his religon, I do it by what I think he stands for and believes in. I believe 0bama stands for what ever the people want to hear. I could equate him with some of the other fine orators in the world but then I would be classified as a biggot or racist which I am not. So I will leave it at He talks a good game but has yet to prove any of it to me and with what I have been finding on him I just cant vote for him.

Whordawg:

"What If"... We just ignore your statement and still cast our votes for the Democratic Party???

"What If"?????

Whordawg:

And during all your research how much of what you read was proganda? What are the issues that keep you from voting for him? Yes, I agree, he is a great orator but he is more substance than what others are giving him credit for, imo. Anyway, I am interested to hear what is making you think he has not proved any of what he is saying, hell, for that matter tell me what has McCain proved that he spoke, the fact that we will be in Iraq for 100+ years, okay.

Linebacker You can cast your vote for whom ever you choose makes me no nevermind. You asked a question and I tried to answer it as best I could. Its my opinion nothing more or less. Me I will vote for the person who I feel is best quallified for the posistion. As you can guess that wont be for 0bama he shows me nothing.

I beg to differ - I didn't ask any questions except for the "What If"

My reply to the blog was; "This blog speaks for itself... No "If" "ands" or "buts" to be reconciled with"...

Lilbit
Well lets see. 0bama votes strictly party lines and you can see where the Dems have got us so far, McCain has gone across party lines and voted when it wasnt good for the People.
We know nothing about 0bama other then the fact he is a graduate of Harvard and I wont belittle him for that, that is not easy to do, but the one thing about that is who paid for it and who does he owe the favor too for it?
McCain yeah he went to the Navel Accadamy and graduated at the bottom, so what just getting in is hard enough let alone graduating which he did, and dont tell me that Daddy got him in either. That appointment like West Point is either a congressional or Presidental appointment. He retired from the Navy, 0bama has never been in the service, something by the way I think should be a prerequesit for being POTUS. I dont care about his wife or what she know since she isnt running. 0bama has NO excutive experiance at all and very LITTLE if any forign relation experance where McCain has alot. 0bama wants to ban all guns and ammo (weather you want to believe it or not thats on you) McCain wants to leave the constitution alone. 0bama is for abortions that even if the baby is alive just let it die. Sorry I feel this is a womans right to choose but if it is born alive then it needs to be taken care of. I wished that 0bama would come out and admit that he is not an Afriican American, he is more arab then anything and more white then black, and besides if your born in America then your an American not a hyphenated one, no matter what your hearitage might be. There is more but I dont

I am still wondering why everyone seems to be ignoring the comments made by PALIN'S pastor and guest speaker(s) at HER church where and when SHE WAS ATTENDING?

One would expect Palin to receive the same treatment as Obama (and his church and Wright) from the media (and others) in terms of her pastor's remarks! So, the question remains, WHY does her pastor, her church, the guest speakers at her church, as well as her, all "get a pass?"

"During the 2004 election season, Pastor Kalnins warned congregants that critics of President Bush and supporters of Sen. Kerry would be banished to hell. He maintains, inter alia, that the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Iraq conflict are part of a larger war "contending for your faith," that Jesus "operated from that position of war mode," and that damnation awaits critics of the Bush administration's handling of Hurricane Katrina."

"Brickner also described terrorist attacks on Israelis as God's "judgment of unbelief" of Jews who haven't embraced Christianity.

"Judgment is very real and we see it played out on the pages of the newspapers and on the television. It's very real. When was in Jerusalem he was there to witness some of that judgment, some of that conflict, when a Palestinian from East Jerusalem took a bulldozer and went plowing through a score of cars, killing numbers of people. Judgment - you can't miss it."

Palin was in church that day, Kroon said.

Palin's pastor has also said that anyone who criticizes Bush is condemned to hell and that "Jesus operated from a war mode," among other outrageous and idiotic statements.

Now, I ask, WHY are these comments ok? And may we PLEASE stick to the topic I have raised: which is about PALIN'S PASTOR.

Peace.

oh yeah-

"...he is not an African American, he is more arab then anything and more white then black..."

No disrespect intended at all intended, but I am sorry for your MISguidedness MISinformation and inaccuracy regarding that statement.

Peace.

Oh yeah, "more 'white' than black"

Would you mind please answering me these questions, as I prefer to deal with REALITY rather than illusions (and I ask non-antagonistically):

About 60 or so years ago, tell me where he he would have been REQUIRED to sit if he boarded a bus to travel?

Which water fountains would he have been REQUIRED to drink from: White or Colored?

What would have more than likely happened to him 60 or so years ago if he kissed a 'white' woman publicly? (We all know what happened to young Emmitt Till, who only whistled at one...)

50 or less years ago...in the sundowns towns (btw, some sundown towns do still exist- unofficially) with signs that said: "N***er don't let the sun set on you here" if the sun had set on him in one of those towns, what do you think the good ol' boys might have done to him?

I can continue, you know...

Peace.
