Barack Hussein Obama has taken the nation by storm.  From obscurity, with zero executive experience, or much of any kind, he has vaulted into the position of Presidential frontrunner.  It is stunning.  On the surface, it appears attributable only to his eloquent oratory and his race.  But an invisible factor may be a strong spiritual force behind him, causing some people to actually swoon in his presence.

I have been very concerned that he has publicly said that he does not believe Jesus is the only way to heaven.  This makes both the Bible and Jesus a liar, and it means that Christ has died in vain.  A person cannot be a true Christian who believes that there are other ways of forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life with God.  Only Jesus has paid the price for that.  He also made fun of some of the scriptures in  OUR Bible.

Therefore, there is, indeed, another spirit involved.  And this spirit has come into our national life like a flood.  Last week at Obama's 20 acceptance speech, that spirit exalted itself in front of a Greek temple-like stage, and to a huge audience like in a Roman arena.  Obama was portrayed as god-like.  His voice thundered as a god's voice.

At the end, Democratic sympathizer Pastor Joel Hunter gave the benediction and shockingly invited everyone to close the prayer to their own (false) gods.  This was surely an abomination, but it was compatible with Obama's expressed theology, and Hunter's leftist leanings.

God was not pleased.

And God says, "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)

Enter Governor Sarah Palin.  With incredible timing , the very next day, Sarah Palin also appeared out of nowhere.  Her shocking selection as John McCain's running mate stunned the world and suddenly took all the wind out of Obama's sails.

We quickly learned that Sarah is a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, attends church, and has been a ministry worker.

Sarah is that standard God has raised up to stop the flood.  She has the anointing.  You can tell by how the dogs are already viciously attacking her.  But they will not be successful.  She knows the One she serves and will not be intimidated.

Back in the 1980s, I sensed that Israel 's little-known Benjamin Netanyahu was chosen by God for an important end-time role.  I still believe that.  I now have that same sense about Sarah Palin.

Today I did some checking and discovered that both her first and last names are biblical words, one in Hebrew the other in Greek:

Sarah.  Wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac.  In Hebrew, Sarah means "noble woman" (Strong's 8283).

Palin.  In Greek, the word means "renewal." (Strong's 3825).

Only God knows the future and how she may be used by Him, but may this noble woman serve to bring renewal and inspiration to our land.          McCain * Palin '08

Good one Navymom!

I feel that those of us who see Sen. Obama for who he truly is are blessed in that we are not fooled by his nonsense and poetic speeches. Chameleon & serpent comes to mind and much more. I know evil when I see it but I also believe that us Christians are shown evil so that we know GOOD. Consider the fact that we did not get sucked into his promise to unite and those who did are truly lost and are looking for something that only a Christian knows. There are a lot of lost souls out there and it shows at his rallies (zombie like soldiers). Nontheless, take comfort in knowing we did not get sucked into his rhetoric and believing he is the second coming. He is to me Anti Everything that is right and good with this country.

Ms Colleen,

I believe you hit it right on the nail, that "God" has shown us how to acknowledge the evil. I guess that was one of my questions why so many were so mis-lead by his false statements. That was great analogy that make complete sense! Happy Monday!

Good Morning to you as well. The was I see it is those who follow him so adoringly without question or reservation are people who are looking for something that is missing/lost in their lives, aka followers/soldiers/zombies. It's almost as if they are afraid to look into his past because they are not comfortable or are unwilling to see the real Obama. They don't have the strength to face what they might discover. When you are one with God you do not fear what's in front of you, you challenge it. Sen. Obama does not nor will he represent me if he becomes President. That title will not change the real person he his. All this will come out sooner or later. Have a great day!

To me it's like a new "cult" has derived out of nowhere. The polls are closing in and statistics show that they are always higher for the Dems. I believe "God" is in control as always.
You have a wonderful day too. :)

If anyone thinks God chose a politician as the "anointed" one, you must be kidding me. Navy, I like Sarah, but I think you're grasping at straws here. I'm sure she has many skeletons in her closet just as all the other politicians do. God, this race is becoming a three ring circus in this country now. I can't help but wonder if these two candidates exchanged parties, how many would continue to follow their chosen one then? People need to think for themselves and stop following a "party" no matter who or which one it is. NEITHER of these candidates will most likely get my vote because NEITHER has shown me that they give a crapola about the people, just about themselves and getting a job. The whole selection this year reeks of pure disgust in my book.

Gooberpug,

I can't speak for "God" and who he speaks thru other people. I do know that he is everywhere and I feel pretty much as Ms Colleen, that the ones that are truly in tune will know that Obama is truly evil. I guess you have to open up to accept the thought of God and his will into your spirit.

There is only one candidate that has already "shown" you that they care about our Country and our People and has ever fought for you and me and that is McCain!

How can anyone deny that sacrifice?

Just a note: Sen. McCain & Gov. Palin have their faults as do all men. However, having faults is being human but having a notion that you are the second coming is MAD. Sen. Obama is not good for this country as a leader (he should stay with community organizer for Chicago). He has shown to be good at one thing and that is giving speeches. In those speeches he has been able to tap into the weak and lost that are desperate for purpose and direction. They need to look further up (Heaven) and not stop at Obama's imaginary halo. Sen. Obama is ANTI AMERICAN...PERIOD! He is evil in a suit.

Navy, I have accepted not only the thought of God, but God himself, still I disagree with your assessment of Sarah Palin. God himself I'm certain is not approving of the millions following both these candidates as if they are lambs being led to a slaughter. God himself I'm sure isn't pleased to hear the hatred and foul things being said by many of these men's followers to each other. God himself would not approve of the lack of respect shown by both parties towards each other.
To bring God into this simply because Palin goes to church and what her name means??? Give me a break. How many millions of others go to church that are in office, was in office and still do questionable things. To dislike Obama I can understand, but to act as if Palin and McCain are being used by God to save this country and to think Palin is the "anointed one," thats really far fetched. But that being said, I do respect your beliefs. Just for the record, many felt Bush was the anti Christ. Hmmm, maybe I'll rethink my thinking on this after all. :-)

Lets take God/religion out of the political picture for a moment. Things I consider when making my decision for whom I want running this country. Experience, leadership, plans/proposals, CHARACTER and an undeniable love for this country just to name a few. Obama fails all of the criteria. He is wrong for this country....just ask Hillary...she's a Democrat.

MsColleen;

Sorry, can never take God out of the picture for any reason......

I know, no offense to you, just a comment.

Hey, Did you ever get in touch with Starrman! He has some exciting news for you.

myresponse, no offense taken. When I said "lets take God/religion out of it for a moment" it was for those who for some reason or another believe God has no role in the political debate. I do and will always consider God in all of my decisions and actions. I have no doubt Obama is Anti American and will be harmful to this country. I am not fooled by his BS and I don't drink his koolade. No, I did not get in touch with Starman. Refresh my memory. Thanks

I'm with myresponse, but I don't believe that in this case, either of these men are what we want to believe they are. Just my observation. I do however respect the views of both MsColleen and Navymom.

I have yet to meet a pure politician. But at some point you have to dissect them and come to some conclusion. I agree with most of McCain's politics but I disagree with all of Obama's. To me character and your past associates (present ones too) says alot and Obama has radical, America haters, etc. in his circle of life. That speaks volumes.

Gooberpug,

I appreciate the thought of understanding a different point of view. I certainly don't understand your hatred of Palin? Too me and many more women she represents all aspects of what women have been working for. A family, career, down to earth yet strong willed. I think that's what most of us women feel inside. We work harder than alot of men and yet still, we get shafted in so many areas of a mans world. Don't get me wrong, there is a time and place for a man and a woman to be in difference, but it's the whole picture of who we are. She certainly isn't perfect, but she has confessed that Jesus is her Lord and Savior as Obama has not. She has had minimal, which I would consider "normal" diversity's in her life and Obama has more than I can count on both hands. Overall between the two, Palins record of Good Will to men over exceeds Obama by many miles. I could not and would not vote for any person Dem or Rep, if I did not believe wholeheartedly that there Integrity was at hand completely. Once you lose your integrity with a person, you can never regain it back. So I believe with many Americans due to Obama's lack of Integrity and judgement, that is the main reason we/I would not vote for him. It has nothing to do with race or gender.

Navy, where did you see me say I hated Palin. Again, you are putting things into these posts that aren't here. Just because I don't think as you do that she is the "anointed one" doesn't make me a hater of her. I happen to like her very much. Perhaps you haven't been paying attention to what I post because you are so quick to disagree with me simply because you are for McCain/Palin and I'm NOT for either yet. I think Sarah Palin is a admirable woman. But just because she has been a mayor and now a short term Governor doesn't convince me she's ready for the task of VP. That being said, I don't think Obama has the experience to be President either. Thus this leaves me in a quandry as to who I will vote for, if any.
NONE of us here can throw stones at either these candidates, which is what I see many doing. I pride myself on being able to look beyond these candidates party affiliations and look deeply into each ones pro's and con's. I think more need to do so as well. Does Obama's past concern me, of course. But so does McCains past of flip flopping. I voted for McCain in the primaries when he ran against Bush, I liked him then because his ideals were more like my own. But since then his voting record leaves something to be desired for me. We are basically two weeks out and I'm still not decided who I will vote for. If I vote at all. I'm not like most of you here, I simply don't vote to vote. I vote to make a change. I won't vote party line just to keep the other out either. If I vote, it will be because I feel the person I vote for will make a great effort to change this co

Gooberpug, good morning....I can appreciate your effort in weighing each candidates qualities before choosing one (if you choose either of them). By not voting based simply on party, race or gender you show that you are someone that has America's interest at heart. That's admirable. I too looked at the candidates experiences, qualifications, judgement and most importantly character. Obama lost hands down. Sen. McCain, as I've stated earlier has policies that I don't agree with 100% but I do feel he does have this country's interest as a top priority. I did all the dissecting I could possibly do before reaching my decision. I am not voting for McCain/Palin simply because they are Republicans, nor because there is a woman on the ticket, nor is it because of their race. Regardless of your choice the fact that you are taking the time to weigh the pro's and con's is more than I can say for those who are voting for Obama. Race is playing a big part in his support. Good luck.
