Have you taken you own advice, checking out McCain, reading a book or books about him, and not just taking his talking points and what he says? Trying reading the book “The Real McCain”, it may cause you to loose sleep when you see how dangerous this man really is. He says whatever fits the political moment at the time. He has more positions than a Yoga instructor. He is rash in his decision-making, he is unilateral in his thinking, quick tempered and most of what he does is for calculated, political reasons. Moreover, your statement about 90% of Obama supporters not knowing about him: What imperial evidence do you have of this? It sounds like an opinion, and not a fact. This is the kind of thinking that harms all of American. I too read Obama’s books, and I have to say your opinion was not my experience. Open your mind and apply some critical thinking, don’t be a lamp lead to slaughter like so many Americans!

I am an independent.

I never said mcCain was an angel and mcCain will never tell you he is the messiah . You know , the one we have been waiting for.

But one thing you can not disagree with me on in spite YOUR of LOVE for obama and some mistakes mcCain has made (and all politicians make them) ,McCain loves this country. He spent 5 years of "beat downs" instead of getting a early "go home " pass.

Ask your self now, do you honestly believe obama would have done the same? Talk is cheap and sweat talk is cheaper-Action will always rule!

Your post do not say independent, you post like you are all in for McCain. For example, you say politicians make mistakes, emphasizing McCain, sort of humanizing him, allowing him to make a mistake; yet you don’t give that same concession to Obama. In fact, you use the word messiah in an attempt to disparage Obama, also implying that he is perfect, -- “no politician is”. Oh by the way, I am a Republican. Nobody is disparaging McCain’s record in the military, but the question is does that qualify him to be president or make him a foreign policy expert, no. By that thinking, anyone who severed would meet those qualifications – not true. Why do you think that Obama would not make the same sacrifice, given the same situation? Why do you think he loves this country any less? Where is the evidence of that? He has proven that he is concerned for others, making personal sacrifices to improve the lives of others. Does that not show love for this country? My issue is temperament, judgment, transparency and honesty. I believe McCain is lacking in all those areas. The last two weeks have surely magnified the void in these critical weakness.

Why is it that if we do not agree, I am not a Republican? That is a pathetic argument, and the same old Republican way – don’t agree with me – personal attack. Do I have to be angry, attacking, and spewing my unsubstantiated opinion to be a Republican? All you post are your opinion, backed up by little fact. You have made a lot of statements and general accusations, where are the specific facts? You come across as angry and rambling in your thought. Why is the Obama story not an American story, it is about his life as an American and the struggles he faced, and still continues to face? I did not say it was a better story, but an American story, better is your word. It would be a pity story if he did nothing to improve his life; I would say that he has improved his life, and that of others, significantly. What does Russia have to do with this conversation, or Fidel for that matter? What evidence to you have that Obama would, or does, agree with either of those government ideologies? You should wake up, as it seems the only opinions you have are the ones McCain gives you.
