I was reading where an outpouring of sympathy and applause is going out to Senator John Edwards and his wife.  My question is, do you think because of his decision to run and/or the sympathy people have for this family that more people will most likely vote for him as President? 

I want to know what you guys think. Ok, we have the democrats running Congress.  I realize that they haven't been in office long but how would you rate their progress so far?   Have they made good, bad or no changes?  Are they holding up to their promises?  What do you think? 

As I watch and read the news of the comments between Congress and the President, I often wonder what the various countries think about us.  More importantly, what does the kids think of the leaders of this nation?  What do they think about the bickering, name calling and indecision between the two powers that represent us as American citizens?  What effect or impact does it have on us as a country? Does it affect foreign relations and of course our national security?
