Moses737 I hear ya! Sanjaya should not win, and great people are leaving and he's still there. Its very puzzling. I just hope that he doesn't win, that would be so disappointing because Sanjaya CAN NOT sing, I've heard younger kids with more singing talent than he. I tell you what I will vote 100 times over to keep LaKisha and Melinda in the running. These two are so very talented.

I think its just like they reported on the news. People that hate American Idol (And I am one of them) want the worst person to win. That way it discredits the show. And now Simon has said that if he wins, Simon will no longer do the show. All the more reason to vote for him.

Howard Stern of Sirus radio fame has also waded into the fray and urged his listeners to vote for the worst singer. Maybe this is where the kid is getting his votes to keep him on. He definitely cannot sing but Simon, Randy and Paula have no one to blame but themselves. They put him thru originally......

Kelly00, you are probably right people who hate the show votes for the worst, don't understand why they would because if doesn't matter if Sanjaya wins American Idol is getting alot of viewers which keeps them on the air. You would think that if someone didn't like the show they wouldn't watch it, that way the ratings would go down and possibly the show would go off the air. What I don't like about Sanjaya possibly winning is that he can't sing and some of the other contestants that really can sing will lose out on prize money. I can't say they won't get a deal becaus Jennifer Hudson didn't win but she has become someone very well known, especially after Dream Girls. Well, hopefully SanJaya won't win, it doesn't matter really its not like I'm going to get the prize money.

hey rwdiddy1 I guess Howard Sterns listeners are doing exactly that voting for the worst singer, because I can't understand how Sanjaya is winning and now his ego is boosted he really thinks he's got it.

He is gay and everybody knows it. It's the first thought that crossed everybody's mind when they saw him. If he's not winning due to people voting for the worst person, he's winning because over the past years more people are coming out to be gay and they want one to win.

The only fans he has our crying little kids. It certainly not people that have watched this show every year. He dosn't even begin to compare the Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Chis, Bo or any of the others that have been great. But my question is how did he even get into the Top 24. That had me shocked from the beginning. This is the real deal not a high school musical. What is America thinking. Quit voting for the kid he can't sing.

This happens every season. A weak contestant continues to advance in the competition, sometimes at the expense of more talented competitors. But it always turns out the same way; eventually, the weak link loses ground, and is shown the door. Hang in; it will happen to Sanjaya. I just hope it happens next week, before we start to lose strong contenders.
