I tossed and I turned and I couldn't go to sleep as I was taking a nap because I didn't want to see the outcome of such a horrifically played game by great college basketball players who should have beaten and ran Ohio right out of the gym!! As I cringed in watching the first half of the game; I couldn't bare to see the 2nd half so I went to take a nap as I was hoping that the first half was just a very bad dream!!

But then I thought; Georgetown will be alright because they are a great 2nd half team because by then; they will scrap that slow paced offense and run and gun and beat Ohio by at least 3 to 4 points!!

But then it happened; I had to see the outcome of the game because I kept tossing and turning for 1 half of an hour. So I succombed to my curiousity and had my wife to turn the game on as I layed in the bed in fear. Fear that what I had seen 4 weeks ago was only a bad mistake!! Fear that my calculations and my basketball knowledge was wrong and unfounded!! Fear that I didn't know what I was talking about 4 weeks ago when I said that the Princeton Offense would be the Hoyas final doom!! But as my wife turned the game on; it was over and the Hoyas proved my speculations and predictions right!!

THEIR PRINCETON OFFENSE HAD FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH THEM AND DOOMED THEM TO A VERY UNNECESSARY DEFEAT!!

AND NOW I AM MAD!! MAD THAT NO ONE WOULD LISTEN TO ME!! MAD THAT FEW COULD SEE THE RIDICULOUSNESS OF THAT IMPOTENT AND ANEMIC PRINCETON OFFENSE!! MAD THAT JOHN THOMPSON THE 3RD WILL STILL HAVE HIS JOB ON MONDAY AS EVERYBODY WILL SAY THAT HE WAS A GREAT COACH THAT CAME UP SHORT WHEN I KNOW BETTER!!!

The first thing that you should do John Thompson the 3rd is to get rid of your former coaches Princeton Offense and go to the old Georgetown Offense that your daddy had!!

FOR IF YOUR DAD HAD ALL OF THAT TALENT ON YOUR TEAM YEARS AGO; HE WOULD HAVE WON 6 CHAMPIONSHIPS!! Swallow your pride and go to your dads former Georgetown Offense and then you will surely be unbeatable!! But now you are in great pain as they interviewed you when I turned the game back on ;as you had lost!! Now you are wondering, "what happened!?"

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR YOU JOHN THOMPSON THE 3RD!! YOU HAVE THE GREATEST 6 PLAYERS IN BASKETBALL TODAY AND YOU SHOULD BE VERY GLAD THAT I AM NOT THE ATHELETIC DIRECTOR OF GEORGETOWN OR YOU WOULD BE OUT OF A JOB; FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING!!

And now we that love Georgetown are all in great pain!! We are in pain because those players of yours deserved better!!

Based on graduation statistics Georgetown recruits athletes as opposed to student athletes, but they should consider athletes that can at least read the score board.

We are not talking about reading the scoreboard!! We are talking about playing basketball. Academics in Georgetown is some of the best in the nation!! However; why!? Why did they blow the game with such a powerful group of talented athletes!!??

priveye,

You must be reading different statistics than I am. Georgetwon has a higher graduation rate than most particularly academic power houses like Maryland. get your facts straight and lose some of the prejudice before you speak. I am proud of those kids and would certainly like to have a child or grandchild grow up to be like them.

Moses,

Unlike you, I am not sad today. i am appreciative that my team went one step farther than I thought they would. I originally saw the Hoyas as an Elite Eight team and they went to the Final Four. I did not think they were ready to take it all, they need another year to mature. i hope both Hibbert and Green return, for the obvious academic reasons and for the fact that each n eeds another year of seasoning to be ready for NBA level competition. You may hate the offense and the feel bad today, but I am proud of those kids and will do nothing to take from their joy.

Brotha man...Md has a dismal graduation of less than 20% so you're not saying much there. Getting back to Georgetown..they are less than 40%.

The term student athlete does not apply to either school.

Okay Priveye!! But I believe you and will have to take your word on it. For I have only been back to this area for 2 1/2 years!! But the Georgetown that I know use to be a very good academic school. But like everything else; they have slipped into the dismal world of intellectual mediocracy!! But don't worry; once most of you guys get that beast chip in your forehead or hand; you will all be brainless slaves of the new world order. So your educational status won't matter any more!!

What TomW!!?? Joy!! They lost miserably and I won't even look at the Championship tomorrow!! I felt like I have been cheated !! They have the best 6 college players in all of basketball. But then too; is it possible that they were told to lose!!?? Maybe!! The sports engineers have done it before!! For they played very lackadasical (if that is a word; or a Moses word) and they had no spark!! But I will still watch them next year; especially if they get rid of that tired Princeton Offense!!

WINNING IS EVERYTHING!! AND THEY LOST AND IT IS NO PRIDE OR PRAISE IN LOSING!!

Moses,

If you are a man of God then you know that these kids do have joy. No one expected them to do anything much this year and they climbed high on the mountain. You don't have to win it all to have joy, you have to simply do your best and accomplish something. Sure they are disappointed they didn't go farther, but you should be proud that they are good ball players and good people.

Unlike priveye, who does not understand and tries to make most things look bad. You cannot compare Maryland or most programs with Georgetown because how many Georgetown players have you heardof over the years get into trouble after being in that program. Most are successful on and off the basketball court. I want successful people, not just successful athletes

I am a Pentecostal/Charismatic/A
postolic preacher of the great faith of Jesus Christ. And I love people of all races and cultures very much. And I have been married for 30 years and I have 2 sons. And I love God very much and only want people to know of His great love and care and affection that He has for His children. But the world is getting darker and more evil by the day and this will bring Gods judgment upon the Earth as He judges those who will enslave the whole world in the very near future according to the book of Revelation. Yet; those who remain faithful to the end will be rewarded with great gifts and honors for their martyrdom. But those who follow the ways of the new world luciferic order will be punished with Satan and his fallen angels who will be judged and sentenced to the great lake of fire for their murders and genocides and great thefts.
