Biden makes a good point, just as Sen.McCain calls for country first; so, must we think that our country is in great need and we must sacrifice.

(The fact is we will have to pay higher taxes, no matter who the president will be.)

So, we must sacrifice and do what Biden and McCain summon us to do.

As usual, ignorant comments fro Wboyd and Navy mom.

I don't know Myresponse, where DID you read where Biden paid 1% because unless you can substantiate /give your source for that remark it is ONLY hearsay and worthless in the court of our peers. Try to do some real scholarship. You,too, NM. Show some intelligence and scholarship.

It is becoming more and more evident that the vast majority of Reps here are Reps only because they don't want to pay taxes but Oh, they sure want the infrastructure, strong defense, education and benefits we get from our federal governement. so, what we see here is proof positive that these Reps are just selfish greedy people, not at all prepared to put their country first.

Nobody wants to pay more taxes but those who put country first realize we will have to.

BB: Could you please explain "…why should any one believe Biden when Harry Reid tells us upon the conclusion of a capitol hill committee meeting yesterday that it’s hard to say where to start."

YOur ability to make sense or provide any logical explication is also lacking. Could you fill in your blanks? Otherwise, you are making very little sense. What does Biden have to do with Harry Reid's remark? and what does Reid's remark prove, if anything?

BB:
If you can't keep up intellectually please don't waste our time with your trivia and half baked thoughts. You sound like a juvenile.

Linebacker:
Don't you think bipartisanship is the way to go? Too much obstructionism. Too little progress.
