S. Osstia has historically always been an integral part of Georgia and recognized by the U.N. and all countries, other than Russia, as Georgian territory.

Russia does not like that former Soviet republics are seeking NATO membership.  But for Georgia to enter NATO its territory must be united and integral.

Russia has no business in going into Georgia.  It just shows that Russia is continuing as an imperialist, brutal neighborhood hegemon.

I am not aware of Georgia's shutting off any pipeline? Are you referring to the PKK's bombing of the BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan)pipeline in Ceyhan, Turkey?

" From the Scotsman Aug. 11, 2008 "Pipeline politics. Georgia is home to an oil pipeline and a soon-to-be-completed gas pipeline, which connect the West to Central Asia, home to the world's second-biggest reserves. With the pipeline, the West has access. Without it, Russia controls those resources. Georgia's president, Mikhail Saakashvili, is pro-West, but a pro-Moscow replacement could cut the pipelines."

What can't discuss in a civil manner? No self-esteem?

Where did I say that it has nothing to do with oil fields?? What is it about your lack reading comprehension? Making up things that I never said and going off on it shows how low IQ you are.

When you are ready to deal with what I do say on an intelligent basis let me know; otherwise, you just provide laugh material.

When I write something it is generally about the last few responses. So, I mentioned sense of humor because of your LOL. I definitely don't find fighting to be humorous and wonder how you would construe that?

Please, AM. Do you know everything that people say in the news and what is going on everywhere??

Well, I don't know if we should shut our mouths but we should be careful about what we "say." I just said that I wasn't aware of that.

Now, if you are talking about the US: Well, I think, that we should take a stand against aggression and support our ally but Saakashvili is not blameless in this matter. So we need to talk to him in private and be judicious in public. GA IS a democracy which is more than Russia can say. Things are not looking good as the Russians have not left GA.

AM, as Russia does not own any pipelines in GA technically it shouldn't matter whether BP or Saakashvili shut it down. That these pipelines exist independent of Russia gauls the Russians and may be the crux of the matter.
