boy every SOB in that scene ought get down on their knees and thank their maker they don't have to have me to deal with ...instant discharge from their jobs and denial of any other public service employment prospects would be the least of their worries ...I'd launch the most public exposure of their conduct such that their own parents would disown 'em ...these tasteless, limited intelligence twits have no gratitude they probably have the best work they could've ever hoped for in their entire lives ...if there's any way to deny them earned employment benefits they had up to that moment they can count on that being a memory!!! ..ain’t a doubt they should have happen to them everything they’d expect to do to someone else’s life if it had been someone close to them…

Ditto mdofva, beagle_buddy!! WTF???

I wonder how much outrage would be brewing if all of the jail personnel in that video were white, and the guy in the chair was of color?? Hell, Jesse, Rev Al, and probably Obama would be beating down the front door screaming "police brutality"..
Also note: listen to the video closely and the Sheriff's department "did not see any problem with "handling" of the people in wheelchairs.
Again..... Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot???

mdofva, thanks for sharing this one, it definitely hits home, and strikes a bad chord with beagle_buddy and myself

MDOFVA:

I saw this last night on the news and am still fuming, as I could not understand for the life of me what would possess these people to do such an unspeakable act! I want everyone involved to lose more than this man has lost, as I am not in agreement with them being placed on administrative leave with pay, which is absurd as they not only caused this man grief, but the act itself was nothing short of abuse so why in the hell are they still getting paid while the powers that be investigate the incident.

I too agree with you beagle, as they should want to deal with you and not me as I do believe that I would be their worst nightmare as I was ready to go through the television last night. I could care less if they are black as I am too and you do not do this to anyone! I want heads to roll on this one, no money while it is investigated, hell what is there to investigate everyone can see for themselves that this is a lawsuit won already although it has not gone to court yet. This is one jury I would love to serve on as I would give this many anything he asks and then some...................I am appalled as Fox 5 will not let me say what I really want to say!

I think all of you are too kind.If I were the guy in the video I couldn't do much but if they made the mistake of doing it to a handicap friend they would be toast.Like Arnold would say "I'll be back!"

Looked like the Administration Officers at the Cecil County, Maryland Detention Center. If it was, nothing will happen!

Where are you Ex-MPD?Why no comments here? Why no opinion on these cops? What's the matter?Does your "cops are always perfect and can never do wrong" mantra prevent you from commenting?

Just an FYI the inmate that was "dumped" from the wheelchair used to live in Ocean City, MD. Just found this out from a local paper today.

Beagle, I was thinking the same thing. And if anything else sentence them to spending time in a wheelchair.
It's kinda of sad when people's lives are so miserable they have to inflict on other people their misery. (Starr, that kinda goes for you too. I liked your attempt with the racial stuff. Why that seems necessary to you - who knows...that kind of hatred will kill you. Release.........

thanks "Debater" ...I along with "Starr" know first hand what kind of momentary terror must've swept over this fella so the whole story hits with a bit of impact ...

...if I may I think "Starr", and me no less, are struck with the thought of what kind of furor would've been griping the media and activists by now if this had the element that could be exploited if the victim of this incident had been other than white ...but we don't see that kind of support and it's angering to put it mildly...do those thoughts ring of truth??? ...this victim is gonna make out alright I gotta believe but it's mostly the talk of town locally and not a swelling of national anger being contributed...

As this is the first that I heard of this I have sent a copy of the tape to Senator Rhonda Storm who represent dist 10 where Hillsbourgh is.
I also sent copy to Victor crist who chairs the Criminal and Civil Justice commitee in Florida.
Action needs to be taken and quickly not allowing people to forget this as time passes

just because some one is in a wheel chair doesn't mean they have to be good upstanding people. Such as the joe in the wheel chair featured in the Fox 5 report on Police Officers illegaly parking. That man in a wheel chair sells drugs out of a bible not far from where he was filmed.

hey "326" ...so if he proclaimed these jail booking personnel to be jerk off, a=ss holes that's a an intelligent, defensible reason to dump the guy out on the floor ... to boot we're talking about this incident ...but lets give you the benefit of an understanding ...the Fox news piece you note ...is your point that's this guy like a non-handicapped person is capable of breaking the law, then that's fine 'Einstein' ...or is it your point after viewing that news story to encourage people, if they’re maligned by a handicap person to embrace the act of dumping them onto the ground is an accepted humane quality of behavior in retribution for hurt feelings over words?? ...go ahead now, show us your scholarly depth ...
