Well it's about time. I was wondering what would happen this year when the hand gun ban came up for vote again. Just two years ago I was asking around about it. The DC Police Dept won't be thrilled by the lift, but I can't imagine living in a city or anywhere for that matter and not being able to protect your own family in a time of need. I'm sure some people aren’t happy about it but I sure am. Now the criminals will think twice about breaking in to a person’s home. The ban didn't stop the criminals from getting weapons it caused the honest people to be unprotected.

Yes I believe like Charlton Heston who is my man!! He says,"You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands!!"" Oh I love to hear that over and over again and again. Dont' worry; I don't have a gun! But I do want you to have one to protect me and my family. For if I am attacked or threatened; God will just strike my attacker right down. Or God will kill him or blind him days before he can do me any harm!!!

I've said this before, "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" and though it is mightily abused in D.C. the right to own a handgun is a Constitutional right! It's no worse than hunters saying you're using an AR-15 to hunt dear!

Oh yeah, "moses737" you keep believing that you are "protected", I hope you are!
