WOW!  It was sooooooooooooo good to see some of the Fox26 family on FOX news!! I felt like I was back home again.  Gosh-it's wonderful to have MyFoxLive that I can watch on the computer--it made me still feel like I was there with yawl.

The CHAT was a little wild and crazy, but it was informative as well.

Thank you soooooooooooooo much for having Fox Live--it is a great way to stay in communication with your hometown.  I pray you all are safe as well as your families!

Thanks kenswife --- it was great when I'd glance over at the chat - and see that you were there, with us. :) Everyone I've talked to at Fox is doing pretty well... just the issues everyone else is going through... still many without power, some with trees through their homes, some with no roofs... but all in all... we're hangin' in there!

Glad to hear it Melissa! Our chimney is gone as well as our fence and a little bit of wet carpet around the B.R. windows-so very fortunate.

I think the worst part is my office was flooded. The whole side of my building had the roof "peeled back" (as the construction worker said). We are going to have to temporarily relocate until they get everything repaired. It is a MESS!! No ceilings left, total mess! But still-nothing like what others are going through! We are counting our blessings as well!

My thanks also to Fox Live!!!

I am in Albuquerque NM and have a friend (more like a baby sister to me) who decided to stick it out in Porter:-(

I had no way to contact her. No way to find out how she had fared. No way to come down and search for her myself...

My point is that without Fox Live and it's chat and Blogs, I would never have been able to get any info on her or the entire community(s) of Houston and it's surrounding areas.

Thanks to the Blog, 2 wonderful TEXAS ANGELS (Steve and Melissa) I waas able to get news of my Friend (sister) and will always be grateful!!

kenswife - you have a great attitude to say you feel fortunate, considering you got quite a bit of damage.

But I understand - right now everything is relevant, considering so many people lost everything. So glad to hear you're okay!!! Hope those home repairs happen easily!

I am a mom of 3, grandmom of 2, married for 29yrs and I am a Tx. "transplant" originally from Alabama. I work for a physician which NOW takes up most of my days-so sad LOL! I'm not into blogging about politics--Ken keeps up with that information for me LOL! I LOVE talking about family, household tips, makeup/hair tips, and GOD! I think FOX26 has the best news "family" around-and yes to most of us they are just that "FAMILY"! Keep up the great work FOX-and can't wait to see more and more positive changes for the station (as long as nobody leaves-your bloggers will stay happy LOL!)
