I just wanted to give the news team, weather team and everyone else at Fox26 a BIG THANK YOU and a CYBER HUG!!  Yawl rocked--really kept us in touch with all warnings etc. during Hurricane Ike!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And may God Bless each of you!!!!

Hey Andrea!!! we're okay--much better than Galveston for sure! Alot of people that live on the bay etc. lost their home completely--it's really sad! And you-how did your home do?

I didn't get to see them, but I know they rocked. Jeff got to talk to the morning team at about 7:30-8:00 am on Saturday (I was too disoriented to talk, had just been asleep for a few hours and heard absolutely nothing in my coma-like state). Finally was able to connect to live (sort of) today at 5:00; wasn't getting a solid connection from Comcast; there were only 60-ish chatters in there today. Wish more would have stayed on after the storm.

I am a mom of 3, grandmom of 2, married for 29yrs and I am a Tx. "transplant" originally from Alabama. I work for a physician which NOW takes up most of my days-so sad LOL! I'm not into blogging about politics--Ken keeps up with that information for me LOL! I LOVE talking about family, household tips, makeup/hair tips, and GOD! I think FOX26 has the best news "family" around-and yes to most of us they are just that "FAMILY"! Keep up the great work FOX-and can't wait to see more and more positive changes for the station (as long as nobody leaves-your bloggers will stay happy LOL!)
