This is really unbelievable. The BREAKING NEWS is now lasted 30 minutes.... When you air Daytona 500 qualifying it would be nice to be able to actually watch it.

Thanks for the tiny split screen... might as well not have the split screen.

BREAKING NEWS: You need the audio the hear what is going on!

Oh finally back to the qualifying session... or as Maureen Umeh (or whatever her name is) says: Back to the Daytona 500.... way to go genius!

Just in time to see the last 5 cars qualify.

Thanks jack@@@es!

Hey Katie,

Come on now, you know Fox 5 turns into TMZ when it comes to the Redskins.....I was pissed too but as you know, I have been bitching about the way Fox 5 is a severe homer station when it comes to the Skins.

I'm glad to see such a good resposne on the blogs that were posted about this. Maybe they (Fox 5) will see that this was really a bone head move.

I doubt it but it shows them that there is more to sports than just the Redskins.

katiek,

Thanks for replying to my blog, I did watch the 10 o'clock news last night and the station did it again.

They started off with a 10 second mention of Jim Zorn's presser, then moved on to the weather and the Mid Atlantic primaries....both rushed stories then right back to the Jim Zorn Presser.

A friend of mine called me, he is an Eagles fan and a bigger NASCAR fan, he said, this is way beyond pathetic, don't the realize that there is more to the news than the Redskins??

Then at 11 o'clock, the whole news edge thing was about Jim Zorn with Dave Feldman. I was thinking, football season ended about 3 hours before and this station won't let the season go. Once again this Fox station puts the Redskins above everything and everybody.

I have lived in the Northern Virginia area since 1967...I currently own and operate a small business in the area and enjoy living close to D.C. Altough there are many problems in this area I wouldn't trade it for any other town!
