Well race fans it's only 60 days away.... the 50th Daytona 500... This track has come along way since the days of racing along the beach in the sand at Daytona... The teams will be testing in only 19 days. They will be testing with the COT which now will be the only car used by NASCAR at all the events this year.... (finally).

It is going to be interesting to see how the Hendrick team fares with the wonder boy (Jr.) now on the team and how Joe Gibbs racing will do pushing the Toyota emblem around the track.. Will Tony Stewart get along with (shrub).. Kyle Busch??? How long till these guys are at each others throats?

Can't wait!

This is where we agree to disagree, JR, will do just fine at Hendrick but #24, Rainbow Boy won't like it that JR Nation is stealing his thunder ( As Lightning McQueen said in the movie Cars....Lightning comes before thunder....but I digress lol ).

So my advice to Rainbow boy....change your feminine protection, shut up, get in the car and drive..and stay out of Jr's way lol.

By the way, Matt Kenseth......will be eating Jr's dust this year lol.

It's deinately going to be hard for both Johnson and Gordon to accept Jr. nation.... but maybe just as hard for Jr. nation to embrace Gordon and Johnson.

Your prediction about Jr. vs Kenseth might be right this year... I think Jr. will be good off the start but may fade late again. Kenseth will have to deal with a new crew chief...who knows how that will work out... Ford needs to get to work on the COT also...

I do agree it will be hard for Jr. nation to embrace Gordon and Johnson and Gordon and Johnson to accept Jr. nation. When all is said and done, like it or not, Jr. is the face of NASCAR and I don't know how Gordon or Johnson will handle that.

Kind of like putting a match to gasoline don't you think lol.

I have lived in the Northern Virginia area since 1967...I currently own and operate a small business in the area and enjoy living close to D.C. Altough there are many problems in this area I wouldn't trade it for any other town!
