The Great Debate?

Once again I see Hollywoods inane attempts at rewriting history in it's socialist/anti White agenda! The depiction of racially suppressed Blacks living in the segregated racist south rise to the occasion of brilliance and rebuke, defeat, outclass the cream of White higher learning institutes. The movie depicts many overt racists incidents that the team had to endure and overcome,and still they persevered to victory.This movie's single message is to perpetuate anti White sentiment period.It is to remind and keep fresh the attitudes of many Blacks that Whites are the repressing, racist ,cause of the Black comm. inability to find parity in todays society! It goes so far as to suggest that if not for the racial atmosphere of the day,Blacks would  excell in every strata of society on par with Whites or above! I'm not saying they didn't win the debates.I'm saying the the depiction of the racist overtones are a subtle if not subliminal message to maintain hatred or resentments of Whites? When has Hollywood ever shown a demonstrative depiction of Black racism against Whites and the results of that hatred?NEVER! Once again a double standard!

Fear not... the nightly news puts the scales back in balance. These movies come and go... but the news is the same old story every day of the week.

How many people were shot last weekend in DC?

I'm putting my money on 4 as well.

To tell the truth, I'm also tired of the new trend of commercials that portray the White father as a bumbling fool who is completely out of touch with his family.

Totally agree with you priveye. That myvoicedc BLEEP really ticks me off. Its once again a blacks only club. But if whites were to start something like that, all hell would break loose. And I for one am pretty ticked off at Wisdom Martin for being involved in it and at fox for starting it.
And I am with you jadeddude. Movies like this are nothing but racist BLEEP.


And let the "Kelly is a racist" mud slinging begin. LOL!!

Would Holly Wood allow me to make a movie titled; Black Men Can't Swim, or Black Chicks?
How about a TV commercial for a home security system where the burglar is a black male or Hispanic? It’s perfectly fine for Brinks, Slomans Shield, and ADT to make it a point to show the burglar as a white male. Heck, even where the burglar is kicking in the new home door wearing a hooded sweat shirt they make sure to show you he is a white male.
The fact is the so called Equal Rights movement has moved to the Special Rights movement. When ever I bring up facts about the subject I’m confronted with the comments “Well it’s about time you experienced racism.” Is this the true message for Equal Rights?
I do not think the fore fathers of the Equal Rights Movement had that in mind.

Would Fox News create or link a site dedicated to White Americans life style in DC like they do on MyVoicedc.com? How about WET added next to BET on all the network guides, or mandatory interviews for white players when a NBA team pick or needs a new player?

I'm all for Black History Month. There are a lot of strong Women and Men who fought true racism to bring equality for all. I'm not saying to be PC either, I believe it is a true proud achievement and strong part of American History that they over came and laid the foundation to equality.

I live in Sterling Va. and am a native of Va. my entire life,except during military service in the U.S.N. I'm a contractor who owns his own business and have many hobbies and interest,i.e.motorcycles ect.My major was psych but love literature and history as well.
