Who knew??? This is a stone cold stunner... out of left field... NEVER been a coordinator before, and now, head coach? Well, that certainly was one way to go...

I am willing to give Coach Zorn a chance. Remember Joe Gibbs was an unknown when he came to the Skins and that turned out well. I am concocerned about how this effects's Jason C, as Head Coach will Coach Z have time to work with him. Who is the Offensive Coordinator?

I think Danny is off his rocker. This guy has no real coaching experience -- and now they want him to run the whole show?

On the other hand, who knows?

I've decided to give Jim Zorn a chance to prove himself with my beloved Redskins. Even if it takes him a year to get settled, I'm not going to rush into judgement until I see what he can do. The pressure is on because Redskins fans are relentless! Don't let us down like you said you wouldn't, because if you do we're right back to where we started!

Hey guys... to answer a few questions:

1) no, i never get a day off...

2) I do think we should all give Zorn a chance

3) still think he's in a little over his head


and you all should know.. we're gonna keep monitoring these blogs, and i'll pump em on the air as best i can.... hope all is well everyone-

the Redskins havent been a winner in sometime, and all of us "skins fans" have suffered through it. like it or not we have Zorn now, and he should be given a chance to make us a winner again. Andy Reid hadnt been a head coach (and was only a coordinator, in fact didnt have ANY "Head Coaching" experience) too. he hadnt done too badly when he started out, let's give Zorn a chance. Daniel Snyder and the lack of a General Manager is REALLY what is wrong with the Redskins (IMO)

Hi everyone!! Dave Ross here, and I have been here, at WTTG, for a long, long time now. I came to DC in 1995, as a writer for our morning sportscasts, then I would field produce all of Tony Perkins' live shots. We had too much fun, and who knew years later Tony would return to Fox, and I'd still be here! Since then, I have moved on to become the Senior Sports Producer, and the host of Sports Breakfast. Working daily with the likes of Dave Feldman and Dave Benz always makes for a fun day at the office. I think it's fairly easy to see that I am a sports junkie, and I love a good debate. So needless to say, I will be sharing my opinion on the world of sports, and I look forward to hearing yours as well!
