Some lucky person won $250,000 in the Mega Millions lottery. The person bought the ticket at a store in Northern Virginia. The person hasn't claimed the prize yet. He or she has 180 days to claim it. That expires Wednesday, October 17th. Do you have the ticket? The winning numbers at 01-09-10-23-53 and the Mega Ball 40. The sale date was April 20th. Even if you didn't win, think about if you had. What would you do with that money? Of course, it's $250,000 BEFORE taxes.

If the dolt has not claimed it by now, it is history.
Why bother to buy, if you are not going to check the numbers?

What do you suppose it would come to after taxes?
A hundred thousand would be a nice surprise. I think I'd pay off our mortgage and give the rest to the kids.

i'll bet that whoever had it lost it, or washed in in a pants pocket, or something crazy like that....too bad.

i'd pay my kid's college tuition so that they wouldnt have to get loans and pay off my own student loans.

At age 9 I decided I wanted to be a reporter and here I am. I've been at Fox5 for 8 years. Covering all kinds of news - investigations, features, you name it. I've had the privilege of meeting a lot of fascinating people. Many have been kind enough to share their stories with me. In the news business, every day is a new adventure!
