Officer Ritchard Findley, you will be missed

You're watching the tv, things seem ok
The news interrupts your story
But thanks to tv recording, you quickly hit the replay
Oh no, not Findley, not my boy
He was doing his job, not playing with one of his children's toy
Four people did a dirty deed
Didn't stop to the Officer's heed
They drag him down the street,
probably laughing along the way
His family is now suffering
As he lays in God's bodily driveway
Those four people in the truck
Which by the way was stolen
Officer Findley did a great job
While attempting to make an unfolding
People,please stop committing crimes
The time is here to make a change
Findley will be missed by all
But for now, our hearts are drained
God will make judgement in due time
When the four men will pay for this
crime

It's easy to see you put some time and effort into the tribute to Officer Findley. Thanks, Audrey.

Thanks to the two of you for your comments. I am glad to see that someone else is reading stories, emails, or people's comments, that are made on line, and make a comment in reference to it. I am a writer, only by "a want", but I don't take a lot of time to write what needs to be read. I just seat at the keyboard, and immediately type what comes to my head. Then I perform my editing from there, and submit the product. The words aren't from someone who went to College and earned a degree, as you can see from my poem, but if you are interested in reading more of what I have written, then you can do that by going to the poetry.com site, and look up Audrey Cacanindin Smith, under search for poet. All or most of my poems, are written immediately at the moment, when some kind of event happens that affects me, or I feel would affect a lot of individuals out there. In this case, this event was very important to me, my husband, and all of the family members. Richard Findley was my husband's first cousin.

Hello There Everyone: Joined up with this account because of Officer Richard Findley. He was related to me, by my marriage to his first cousin, Craig. I am married, have two beautiful girls, and work p.t. on Capitol Hill, as a line replacement stander. We have been residence of Beltsville for 24 years now.
