DEAR REP. SCOTT, CANTOR, WITTMAN, FORBES, MORAN, DAVIS,

I am so disappointed to hear that you are blocking a major solution to illegal immigration by refusing to sign the Discharge Petition on the SAVE Act (H.R. 4088).

Nearly everybody agrees that illegal immigration will never be slowed down if we don't remove the jobs magnet. Please stand up for the vulnerable workers of our state and let the bi-partisan SAVE come up for a vote.

The SAVE Act would make nearly all legitimate American jobs off limits to the estimated 7 million illegal foreign workers now in the country. It would put millions of construction and service jobs into the hands of Americans who currently don't have one.

I don't understand why you are perpetuating the ability of irresponsible businesses to hire illegal foreign workers. You should stand up for our state's own workers, not for outlaw businesses and illegal aliens.

Please sign the Discharge Petition and let this bi-partisan solution have its vote in the U.S. House.

Thanks a lot Y3!!!I was just casually reading along and accidently read the name Moran. Now I won't be able to eat for a week.It doesn't suprise me that idiot doesn't have time to go along with this. After all if he's not out chasing a gun ban he's probably busy with his latest campaign finance scandalOf course that is if he's not too busy sniffing after his usual flying monkeys such as the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Iranian American Political Action Committee.

Heeeey....I'm curious. When did these "illegal aliens" start coming over the border? For some reason I had the impression they've been doing this big time for the past 7 years, at least! Hmmm. By my calculations, we had a repubican president and a repubican congress and a repubican senate. Reckon why none of "them" guys didn't do something about "them illegal aliens?" Ohhhhh. I get it...they JUST started doing that when the Democrats took over the house and senate...ohhhh. I see.

Well,Ave why would they have wanted to come here during Bill's reign? Most come here looking for jobs and just the fact that the numbers have skyrocketed since Bush took office is a testament to the job situation.

AveMaria22,
You are not foolish enough to believe that this problem rests on the shoulders of just the Republicans are you? Take a look at the voting history and the current stance that the Democrats and McCain have on illegal immigration. Your buddy Hillary has supported the illegals all the way. She supports sanctuary cities, she is for amnesty, for halting raids on illegal immigrants, supported cutting funding for the border fence, against police having 287G ICE training, supported giving drivers licenses to illegals in NY, she even gave a speech to Latino's in the beginning of her campaign where she vowed that one of her first duties in office would be to make Spanish our second national language. Bush has been no better with handling illegal immigration but I can argue that the illegals started coming over the border long before Bush was in office, remember the first amnesty fiasco was given by Reagan and supported by both parties. That first amnesty is what added to the problem we have today and so the problem was here even before Reagan was in office and Republicans and Democrats alike have done nothing to fix the problem since.

Teddy Kennedy and Sam Nunn were the ones who opened the doors to all foreigners who wanted asylum, or anything else. They were Democrats.

Ave, go away and DO YOUR RESEARCH! Jeez!

greedywal: Who do you think performed these jobs before this country was invaded? My guess is that the wages being paid now are lower than before, and a larger benefit to the businesses that employ them. Why not hire someone that you can pay $6.00 per hour, and not $10.00. Don't believe everything you hear or read about americans. I've lived here all my life, and the media plays a major part in the minds of some folk.

...Y3's right on maria ...Kennedy's act passed back in 1965...it was designed to create diversity and diminish the euro-anglo majority ...why he felt so driven I can only guess ...maybe the cross he was carryin' got heavy on his conscience and at any rate he realized when the BLEEP hit the fan it wouldn't matter, he'd be 6 feet under... As of now he’s on borrowed time…

greedywal....if I hear one more illigal say that same statement...I will scream!!!!! They always say "they do the jobs that others will not do." BS! They did it before the illigals were here. They're doing it now that the illigals are here...and they would've done those jobs if hispanics were not here.

What got them in those jobs are the dirty low life employers who want to maximize their profits by minimizing the payroll.

Y3Y3...you are just taking one aspect of the Act and taging along names of democrats that are tied to not supporting it. There are two sides to every story. There must be a reason why they are not signing it. I'm also sure that there are some republiCANTS that are doing the same thing.

When it comes to getting rid of illigals I beleive both sides of the politcal parties has a stake in it. I beleive both sides have a vested intrest of some form of gain by keeping the illigals here. It can be anything from having "Maria" babysit for dirt cheap up to having a stock in a corporation that hire illigals to save money.

You seem to have missed this:

"Kennedy's act passed back in 1965...it was designed to create diversity and diminish the euro-anglo majority"

You see, it was SIGNED IN 1965.

Ave, it started in the late 1960's and into the 70's with the Vietnamese, and then in the early 80's the illegal latinos came with drugs to sell.

Her record for getting facts straight precedes her.

I don't even care anymore.

She's probably in a weird mood since she realized Hillary will be in the crowd watching McCain being sworn in.

ANOTHER STORY about those latino PIGS. You wonder why their houses, and yards are a mess...IT'S ORGANIC! They ARE two legged pigs.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,354398,00.html

The latest battle in the war on illegal immigration isn't over the smuggling of undocumented workers, it's over the trash they leave behind.

Government officials and border activists say the garbage dumped in the desert by illegal immigrants and their smugglers is staggering.

And the cleanup is costing taxpayers millions.

In 2006 alone, more than 1.18 million pounds of trash was collected along southern Arizona border, many in the meeting spots where immigrants rest, change clothes and wait to hitch a ride further north with a smuggler.

"You can find everything," said Shela McFarlin, special assistant for international programs at the Arizona Bureau of Land Management. "Blankets, airline tickets, Bibles, wedding pictures, photos of children, school reports, because clearly people don't tend to throw away everything they've brought with them — they're forced to."

Arizonia officials have spent approximately $4.4 million over five years to clean up the mess, that continues to build with each crossing. Nearly $1 million was spent for 2007 from a base BLM appropriation.

Border Patrol's Tucson sector, which covers most of the Arizona border, doesn't have statistics about how many people cross through each year, but on average, agents apprehend 1,500 people a day, with 378,000 undocumented immigrants caught in 2007 alone.

The trash is a problem that activist groups, like

CONT'D -

The trash is a problem that activist groups, like the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, say will not stop until the nation's southern border is secured.

"It's just like a flood," said Chris Simcox, the president of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. "You can't clean up the floodwaters until you stop the flood and fix the dam."
