Agreed. That's how I remember the Joker being. Not that Jack Nicholson garbage they came out with several years ago. Heath nailed it. Whoever produced and directed this movie did their homework on the characters. My head was spinning after the movie was over.

The Dark Knight was a great movie and ledger did a great job, but to say the other Batman was garbage just ain't right.
Those were 2 different types of movies. The original Batman w/jack as the Joker was COMIC BOOK style. The latest version is more of a NOVEL style.
It was a great movie and in my opinion the best one of all the Batman movies so far. I think mainly because they took away the 9,000 foot tall buildings and all the GOTH of Gotham.
They made it real life. That's the most enduring quality I noticed. the acting was great but the script was a little week. The story had a moral lesson to it and I felt they were setting up a long line of stories involving the Joker, wonder who will fill Keith's shoes? Although the Joker came across as more of a villian in this latest version I felt he could have been a bit darker more cynical.
Still the best movie this year....so far.
