I find it to be poetic justice that the 60th Emmy Awards show was rated the WORST one ever.
I think it shows that America is not very interested in what Liberal actors think about politics.
I didn't watch the show but my girlfriend did and I could hear it from the next room. I heard constant jabs at McCain and Palin from the red carpet to the closing of the worst Awards show ever.
From the Nothing comments to the shout out to Community Organizers everywhere, I found it tasteless and not funny.
I'm all for a good joke delivered at the right time. But as I heard the show from the other room I could not help but realize the AGENDA was not the Emmy's it was a chance for actors to voice political opinions, and show ignorance.
The opening "NOTHING" bit gave prelude to what the awards show actually had in store in entertainment value.
Last time I heard the NOTHING comment I believe it was referring to Obama's executive experience, which might I add also can be referred to the actors experience in Hollywood on the subject.
From comments of Palin's Vibrator Party (on the red carpet) to the pitiful attempts at war mongering accusations, this awards show deserved the ratings it received.
By the low rating numbers it seems apparent to me the majority of the ratings came from the actors DVR's being set to record the show.
Actors need to stick to what they are paid for, acting.
Quite honestly I could really care less what millionaires who get their money from the people by pretending to be something they are not on TV and films think. They are phony to begin with.
