TORRANCE, Calif. — A dozen bystanders rushed in to help a
70-year-old man after he stumbled leaving a Southern California bank,
causing thousands of dollars to scatter in the wind.
Ludwig Geier says hundreds of bills were "gone in no time," flying
through the air and littering the First National Bank's parking lot in
Torrance on Monday.
Almost immediately, about a dozen bystanders rushed in to help. The
machine shop owner says about 96 percent of the money was found.
Geier says he's going to pray for those good Samaritans, adding, "If I could get them together, I'd buy them dinner and drinks."
Could something like this happen in our area. I would like to think so.

Police
are searching for 34-year-old Jermaine Montgomery (right) and his
girlfriend, 36-year-old Marcey White (left) as suspects in 24-year-old
Yong Hui Zhang's abduction.
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- Police are searching for two suspects wanted in the violent abduction of a Fredericksburg delivery driver.
Police
say 24-year-old Yong Hui Zhang was apparently ambushed behind an
apartment building Thursday night, while delivering food. His parents
called police when he didn't return to their restaurant, China Express,
by closing time.
Officials say police found blood and Zhang's shoe at the apartment building.
On
Saturday, police were searching for 34-year-old Jermaine Montgomery and
his girlfriend, 36-year-old Marcey White as suspects in Zhang's
abduction.
Montgomery is accused of using Zhang's credit card at a gas station following the alleged abduction.
Police
continue to search for Zhang and his bronze 2004 Nissan Sentra. Police
can't confirm what vehicle the suspects are driving, but say they are
considered extremely dangerous.
_______________________________________________________
Ok people let's get these suspects into custody!
We need to bring these two to justice and make sure they are sent to prison after convicted!
To hear that they may have ordered food and waited in the dark for an innocent man doing his job for a living (sounds familiar doesn't it?) and his parents business is yet another view into the criminal thought process. Not only that but the FACT they went to a gas station and BOUGHT BEER AFTERWARDS!
Guess killing gets you thirsty. I say killing because of the amount of blood found by Police at the scene of the abduction and Zhang's shoe.
These people NEED TO BE CAUGHT AND CAUGHT NOW!
They may get hungry soon and "order out" again. (by the looks of her that won't be long!)
This story is sickening!

Found these pictures Of Marcey White from her myspace.com page.
She hails from Sterling on her site.
Still looking for other photos of Mr Montgomery.
Some reports from Richmond suggest they may be in the southeastern part of the state, but that is not sure.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Fredericksburg Police Department at (540)373-3122,
or contact their local law enforcement agency. Persons who provide
tangible assistance in this investigation may be eligible for a cash
reward."
UPDATE: Both have been arrested, I just came across a press release. But still trying to confirm it. I was trying to pull up Montgomery's criminal record and came across the announcement.

I came across an article and I feel they give you a good look into exactly who Ronnie White was.

The Washington Post
The man accused of killing a Prince George's County
police officer "intentionally accelerated" a pickup truck toward the
officer and "ran him over," and a passenger in the truck was shot,
according to charging documents released yesterday.
') ;
// -->
The documents, made public a day after suspect Ronnie L. White,
19, was apparently strangled in his county jail cell, provide a
detailed account of the Friday morning encounter in Laurel that took
the life of Cpl. Richard S. Findley, 39.
White was charged with first-degree murder about 8 that night and was found unresponsive in his cell about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
A search of court records yesterday provided a more
extensive picture of White's criminal history, revealing that last year
he served less than half of a six-month sentence for gun possession.
White entered the Howard County Detention Center on Sept. 7 and was extradited to Fairfax County on Dec. 3. After four days in a Fairfax jail, he posted bond for $3,000.
There were 12 charges against him in Fairfax, including eight for
grand larceny, three for failure to pay or return goods, and a
probation violation, Sgt. Kevin Thornhill said. The disposition of
those charges was unclear.
Court records show that in 2006, White was charged with first-degree
assault and armed robbery; the case was dropped. Last year, he pleaded
guilty to drug possession.
In December 2006, when Howard police found him and a loaded 9mm
pistol in a car in Columbia, White said that the gun was his and that
he had a good reason for carrying it, according to court records.
The gun was "for protection," he told a Howard police officer. A lot
of people were "after" him, said White, who was living in Southeast
Washington at the time.
Who exactly was after him is unclear. But it would not be his last encounter with police.
In March 2007, he and another man were arrested in Laurel after
Prince George's police stopped the car they were in and found about 15
baggies of crack cocaine as well as several grams of marijuana. Howard
also had an open warrant for a robbery charge.
White stayed in jail until September, when he pleaded guilty to one
of the drug charges. He was given a suspended sentence and placed on
probation, court records show. He also pleaded guilty to a handgun
charge in the Howard case.
When Findley approached the pickup Friday afternoon, White was on probation and faced the prospect of being sent back to jail.
According to the charging documents filed by Detective Thomas K.
Lancaster, a passenger in the truck identified White as the driver. The
passenger, Gerald Wright, was shot during the incident, documents show.
He has not been charged.
The documents do not indicate who shot Wright but say that Findley fired several rounds as the Ford F-150, described in previous reports as a Chevrolet Silverado, sped toward him.
According to Lancaster's account, Findley and Cpl. Kelvin Scruggs,
part of a team that looks for car thieves and other violent criminals,
saw two men get into the truck, which had stolen Virginia tags, in the
parking lot of a Laurel area apartment complex.
Findley turned on his emergency lights and pulled his cruiser in
front of the truck to prevent it from leaving the lot, Lancaster wrote.
Findley left his car and walked toward the front of the truck while
Scruggs approached the truck from the rear.
Findley and Scruggs were in plain clothes, but both were displaying their police badges, Lancaster wrote.
"At this point," he wrote, "the driver of the F-150 intentionally
accelerated toward Cpl. Findley and ran him over. Cpl. Findley
discharged his issued firearm and several rounds took effect in the
hood and windshield of the vehicle. The two men fled the scene in the
F-150 and escaped."
Officers found White and Wright in a nearby apartment, the charging documents say.
Two civilian witnesses working in the area identified White and
Wright from photo arrays as the two men they saw running from the
pickup.

It seems to me this young man was not only hanging with the wrong crowd, he was a big part of it. I can't help but think death was not too far away in his future anyways.
I stand by my beliefs that this man was indeed the driver of the truck that killed officer Findley. I know this sounds harsh and unfair, but that's how it looks to me.
Sad thing a youth that had no respect for the law and himself has ruined so many lives with his ignorance and lack of moral fiber!
I won't miss him.

F AIRHOPE, ALA. — The event was planned and advertised weeks ago: At
the new Fairhope Museum of History, officials would open a city safe
that had been unused since 1971.
What would be inside? Nothing? Old city records?
This week, a crowd of nearly 30 Fairhopers watched as locksmith
Nevitt Baker lifted away its heavy, black door. A musty smell filled
the room, and the crowd laughed as news cameras and curious locals
closed in on the open safe. One woman rushed her young son out of the
museum, saying she didn't want him to see what was inside.
A few called out the obvious — its bottom shelves were filled with
marijuana. The vault apparently had last been used by police
investigators to stash drug evidence.
"Here is somebody's name, somebody I remember, who would be terribly
embarrassed right now," said Donnie Barrett, the museum's director,
later Thursday as he examined a label attached to one of several
matchboxes filled with dry, 37-year-old dope. "It looks like a whole
bunch of dope is what we've found here. I wish it was a little bit more
than that."
Why was this evidence left behind or forgotten?
"That's not the sort of historical question we'd wanted to have to ask," Barrett said.
Soon, police Cpl. Brett Murray confiscated the old contraband. He
said he and his friends had speculated about the safe's contents since
they were young, when it was in a building used by the Police
Department. But its combination had been lost and its door had been
painted shut, he said.
Murray said he'd have the evidence placed in the department's
current evidence vault for later processing or disposal by
investigators.
Among items in the safe were a green diary with a peace symbol drawn
on its front, a cup containing a collection of small bags of marijuana,
a few rolled joints, several matchboxes and small manila envelopes
containing more marijuana with accompanying written materials, some
drafted by officers and others by witnesses.
"I'm a little disappointed that we didn't find a lot of history. We found a lot of dope," Barrett said.

BERLIN — An American hiker stranded in the Bavarian Alps for nearly
three days was rescued after using her sports bra as a signal, police
in southern Germany said today.
Berchtesgaden police officer Lorenz Rasp said that he helped lift
24-year-old Jessica Bruinsma of Colorado state to safety by helicopter
on Thursday after she attracted the attention of lumberjacks by
attaching her sports bra to a cable used to move timber down the
mountain.
"She's a very smart girl, and she acted very resourcefully," said
Rasp.
An Alpine rescue team, including five helicopters and 80 emergency
workers, had been searching for Bruinsma since she went missing June 16
after losing her way in bad weather while hiking with a friend near the
Austrian border.
She fell 16.4 feet to a rocky overhang, where she spent the next 70
hours on the narrow ledge, sustained by water that she found by
breaking into a supply box on the ledge.
She badly bruised a leg and dislocated a shoulder in the fall, and the cliff was too isolated for her to climb free, Rasp said.
Rasp said the cable was only within reach because the timber
transport system was out of service. When a repairman restored the line
on Thursday, the cable car started moving up the mountain and
Bruinsma's bra reached the worker at the base. He knew of the missing
hiker and immediately called police.
Rasp said his team followed the cable line up the cliff side in a
helicopter and found Bruinsma standing on the ledge, waving with her
good arm. After circling once, they lowered a winch to Bruinsma and
lifted her aboard.
"She did so well because she is in very good shape," Rasp said. "She
has been training for a marathon — her goal is to finish in 3 hours and
10 minutes."
Bruinsma told Rasp that she has scrapped plans to stay in
Berchtesgaden to learn German and plans to return home to Colorado
Springs with her parents. He said she still plans to run the marathon,
if she recovers in time to keep training.

I like how the guy says, "she is in very good shape". I bet! LOL

BERLIN — A German man doused his BMW with gasoline and torched it on today in protest at skyrocketing fuel costs, police said.
The unemployed 30-year-old man drove the black 1995 BMW 3-series
sedan onto the lawn outside Frankfurt's convention center grounds at
about 7:30 a.m., police spokesman Karlheinz Wagner said.
He then jumped out, emptied a canister of gas over the vehicle, and set fire to it, Wagner said.
By the time the fire department got to the scene, the car was entirely burned out.
The Bavarian man, whose name was being withheld because he has not
been charged with a crime, told police that gas prices were so high he
could no longer afford to drive the vehicle.
As in many countries, gasoline prices have risen steadily in
Germany; a liter of regular gasoline now costs about euro1.55, or $9.40
per gallon.
Police were investigating whether the man could be charged with
violating German environmental laws with the stunt, Wagner said.
Penalties range from fines to five years in prison.

Easton , MD
A young (18 year old) black male was seen by the police without a shirt on (which is against the law in this town). He was approached by a police officer and advised of the LAW (although a silly one it's still a law). The youth decided it was a silly law and refused to comply. This shows NO RESPECT for the law or Police officer. So the cop tells him again and advises him he will get ticketed if he does not comply now. The youth mouths off and still refuses spouting the temperature outside (like the police officer wearing a vest and shirt isn't aware of the temp). When asked for ID so he can issue the ticket, the youth takes off running. The cop catches him and issues the ticket. He was also ticketed for failing to obey a direct order to stop from a police officer.
I see nothing wrong with that boy getting fined now. I agree it's a silly law, BUT if you have a problem with it. COMPLY anyways! Then after you put that shirt back on you walk to CITY HALL and ask for the forms or info on how to have that law repealed. There are ways to get things done legally people.
Shame on FOX 5 for even reporting this as a tragedy!

I just watched a segment on Water fountains on the mall.
9 out of 10 were working. Beth the reporter (and I say that only because that is her title) even goes on to count the number of steps it took to reach all of them.
Is this really news?? I could see if most of the fountains were NOT working, then maybe FOX 5 would have BREAKING NEWS! But it was a story about water fountains with 90% working. Do we really need to know this BLEEP? Are there really that many idiots out there that don't know when it's this hot you need to stay cool and hydrated? Does this type of info really constitute an actually news story? Do you actually think anyone cares about such a trivial report?
Whats next? The ultimate question of how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Toostie pop?
I am still shaking my head.

Dear Abby,
I am a 60-year-old woman who is married to a man
who acts like he hates me. In public, he pretends he
loves me and talks about how wonderful I am. But in
private, he shakes his finger in my face and calls
me the "B" word. He constantly tells me how ugly
I am without make-up. I‘ve tried everything,
including a face-lift, botox treatments, and a chin
tuck. I even went on a diet and lost 20 pounds.
He quit his job a few years ago after having an
affair with a woman in his office. He hasn‘t even
looked for another job. We haven‘t slept together
since I confronted him about the affair. He denied
it, of course, but everybody knew it. It was
humiliating. I believe he is still messing around.
While we both want to sell this house, we argue
constantly about when to put it on the market. The
house we want will be available in a few months. My
husband wants to put our house on the market now. I
think we should wait a while. He has already
started collecting boxes and packing up his stuff.
Do you think he is planning to leave me?
Signed,
Worried in NY
Dear Worried in NY:
I doubt it. He wants to move back into the White
House as much as you do.

May 21: Yosuke the parrot rests in his cage at home in Nagareyama, Japan, after he was missing for two weeks.
TOKYO —
When Yosuke the parrot flew out of his cage and got lost, he did
exactly what he had been taught — recite his name and address to a
stranger willing to help.
Police rescued the African grey parrot two weeks ago from a neighbor's roof in the city of Nagareyama, near Tokyo.
After spending a night at the station, he was transferred to a nearby
veterinary hospital while police searched for clues, local policeman
Shinjiro Uemura said.
He kept mum with the cops, but began chatting after a few days with the vet.
"I'm
Mr. Yosuke Nakamura," the bird told the veterinarian, according to
Uemura. The parrot also provided his full home address, down to the
street number, and even entertained the hospital staff by singing songs.
"We
checked the address, and what do you know, a Nakamura family really
lived there. So we told them we've found Yosuke," Uemura said.
The Nakamura family told police they had been teaching the bird its name and address for about two years.
But Yosuke apparently wasn't keen on opening up to police officials.
I found this article and found it somewhat amusing.

I can say I saw the death of Amber coming, and next season is bound to be a good one. Wilson will obviously hate House now.
But the main thing that pissed me of about this episode was. When #13 was in the bathroom stall and there was a "VOTE FOR CHANGE '08" Bumper sticker on the wall.
Anyone else notice that?

WOW! I can't believe all this rain! I thought April was the rainy month!
I took my dog out this morning almost had to put water wings on her so she wouldn't float away.
The ground is so saturated water is standing everywhere. If I see an old guy collecting pairs of animals I think I am going to invest in a hot air balloon rental for a few weeks! LOL
STOP RAINING!!!! I want to go out riding! I don't own a boat!
Remember people DO NOT DRIVE IN STANDING/MOVING WATER! It may look safe but many dead people thought that same thing!
If you have children, DO NOT LET THEM PLAY IN THE WATER! I admit I did when I was a kid and was very lucky I did not get a disease or injury from debris under the surface.
IF YOU HAVE A BASEMENT:
Check it regularly! Make sure your sump pump is working correctly if you have one. NEVER WALK IN THE WATER OF A FLOODED BASEMENT IF ELECTRICITY IS PRESENT! NEVER STAND IN WATER WHILE TURNING ON CIRCUIT BREAKERS! Most people don't visit their basements very often and sometimes get a big surprise after a storm.
DO NOT WALK IN THE WATER you may get ELECTROCUTED!
FLOOR DRAINS:
Be sure to clear those floor drain grates! If you have a low entrance MAKE SURE NO LEAVES ARE BLOCKING THE DRAIN! This may cause flooding into your home!
If you drain tubes put them on your downspouts! Drain water as far from the house as you can!
It may be too late now but CLEAN THOSE GUTTERS! If they block up the water can seep through the facia board and into your attic/ceiling.
DO regular inspections of your yard and around the house foundation! You may get wet but you may find a problem too!

I'm really sad to see Brooke go! Although I didn't think she would win I did think final 3.
David Cook has got to win this!
I honestly can not believe Jason is still around, doesn't he do the same act every week on end? I'm really bored and tired of his soft cutsie singing. He always looks stoned too.
Syesha should be gone too, I thought top 5 but Jason shouldn't have been in top 5 and she would have been first to go.
David A can that boy sing in any other range than the one he does every song in?
Why go people think he is that great? EVERY SONG is the same tone EVRY SINGLE ONE. America has gone tone deaf! If you watch the playbacks especially since they are doing 2 songs now you will see what I mean.

I find it amazing people are actually thinking there is a scam against people by requiring an ID when voting.
There are actually people out there that say this is crazy. Why would it be wrong to make sure a person voting is the person they say they are. So now it's a conspiracy against against poor democratic voters. So they are saying Democratic voters go around with no ID's? Who doesn't have an ID and VOTES??
Every single person in this country should have Identification PERIOD. If you can go get a welfare check and cash it you can sure as hell have an ID to vote.
How come this is even an issue? You need an ID to buy beer, you need an ID to cash a check, you need an ID to get on a plane, you need an ID to drive you need an ID for just about everything. Why is it a big shock to show one to vote??
If you don't have an ID then more than likely you don't vote either.
