I wish I could say it happened overnight but it didn't. Lauren and I have been practicing and producing for a few months now and they have finally given up on saying 'no' and have said YES to my5. It’s the newest segment on myfoxdc.com and it will be the new buzz. Each time we will give you our 5 favorite sites to check out . Let us know what you think and let us know how we are doing (be gentle though). I hope you like the segment and hit us up when you are looking to kill some time during the work week…wait I mean on your own time when you are not on the clock.

If you haven't seen it yet. Click on the entertainment tab and look for the my5 on the right below our scrolling banner!  http://media.myfoxdc.com/my5/my5.html

Paul. I'm a big fan. I especially like how in your bio you say "but enough about me" after I had to read your entire life's story. Who's your favorite anchor?

Paul Raphel is a planning producer and field producer for many segments that air on the FOX 5 Morning News and FOX 5 News at 5pm. Some of the segments he has producee include Idol Chatter, 'Let Tony Try It', and many of Sue Palka's live remotes including Mic at the Metro and Mic at the Mall. He also deals with most of the pop-culture related guests and content for WTTG. He is currently the producer for FOX-5's Morning News feature reporter Holly Morris who reports from somewhere new every weekday. His favorite work moments include interviewing Robin Thicke and Perez Hilton one-on-one, setting up a spy mission with a former CIA agent, and riding in a police car during a simulated chase. Born and raised in St. Louis, he came to the east coast to attend the University of Maryland, College Park where he started his career at FOX 5 as an intern. After graduating he was hired as a production assistant and has now moved into the planning department. He has launched a new segment for myfoxdc.com called 'my5' that he both produces and hosts. When he is not working he likes to get outside and play softball, soccer, or golf. He enjoys music and is always looking for new music to fill one of his favorite possessions…his iPod.
