There are certain songs that when I hear them, they bring back so many memories of what I was doing at that time..For instance when I hear Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", it reminds me of my senior year in high school, first year of college and my first serious boyfriend..Then, when I hear "One Nation Under a Groove" by Funkadelic, I think of my days going to a club downtown for happy hour and doing that dance called "The Freak"..Those are two that come to mind..What do you all think of when you hear an old song come on the radio or at a party, wedding, etc.??

When I hear any of the songs of the 70's. I remember my days as a teenager and younger aldult. Those songs remind me of the times when you could go out and have a good time. You did'nt have to worry about the stuff that goes on these days and time. We really had fun back then.

When I hear "Reeling in the years" I immediately remember hanging out at Fort Washington. That was the hang out in the early 70's. People playing football, having picnics and everyone waxing their cars. What a great relaxed time that was.
