I have recently heard that MD MEIN HEIR Governor has stations MD state storm troopers at  it's borders to catch Maryland residents going over to Virginia to buy cigarettes at a cheaper price.

The penalty for this heinous is $50.00 for every pack over 2,  ( a carton would cost you $400 )

You also will be charged with felony trafficking ( loss of voting rights and the ability to own a gun and various other privledges denied a felon )

You will be sentenced to 1 year and jail and a fine ( they would not state how much ) I take it enough to lose your house, after you lost your job.

Your car will be impounded also.

All this for buying enough cigarettes to last you a week.  They haven't said anything about this on Fox or any other media outlets as they approved this behind those sacre doors of the MD house.

It seems that your elected dictators have found another way to make you comply and to tell the truth about government corruption

You will comply or else !!!!!!!

As Mordecai Jones, in the movie "The Flim-Flam Man" said...

"There are laws...and there are laws.."

from what I understand authorities say there's priority duties and tasks that don't allow them to deal with managing the problems in our communities that ILLEGALS have brought upon us ...some authorities have said they don't want to ...so how is it seen that resources can be diverted to Gestapo duty on our Delaware, Pennsylvania, DC and Virginia borders to determine who are residents who’ve exceeded their quota of cigarette purchases outside of Maryland …is there a responsibility of residents when they’re on extended travels outside the State to limit their cigarette purchases to the ground rules the Gov has established excepting that they’ve been thoughtful enough to pack an adequate supply of in State purchased cigarettes before they journey away from the State??? …this is insanity!!!! …p=issin’ into the wind!!!

All a person has to do is make sure the cigarettes are NOT in cartons and no receipts are in the vehicle. Then the burden of proof is on the law. You could have bought 2 packs from out of state every day and just had those packs in your car. Burden of proof can work for people.

They've had this going on down at the bridge on 301 South for years now.
Sneaky spy hangs out at cig store,
He radios his spy buddy over the bridge in MD,
He stops cig buyers and writes citation and confiscates cigs.

It's like shooting fish in a bowl.

Its harder up here around DC because there are so many routes back to MD.

There you go a job for the Illegals, just send them back and forth over the boarders of MD, VA and DC. The Troopers will never stop them or question them and they are experienced boarder jumpers, law breakers i.e. criminals, ect, ect.

MCGRUNT you've made an interesting observation ...it would seem if the suspect is an ILLEGAL they're gonna get a pass ...profiling in reverse ...if the suspect looks latino you pull the plug on apprehension ...geez, being an ILLEGAL seems to have no limit to the benefits of their law breakin' a=sses...

It is absolutely amazing that you can become a felon for buying cigarettes and not for being here illegally

once more it's amazing that the puts a piority on resident out of state cigarette purchasing habits and has very little if any indignation at ILLEGALS beginning to abound in the communities of our State and burden our economic well being ...our authorities attitudes from the top down encourage this problem to grow without any sense of concern...I see it but I don't understand it...

Ok, maybe I don't get it. But how will they know what you BOUGHT??? Are they planning to stop every car that crosses over the line? Search through your grocery bags or car just because they think you bought cigs? Get real people, this is just another form of stupid gossip that people think is actually for real.

They have undercovers situated at certain stores and if they see someone with MD license plates buy more than 2 packs they radio ahead to waiting gastopo agents to pull you over for any reason

This is nothing new, although the fines may have been raised. For me, I'll take my chances!
