In the news this morning, in Baltimore, a 7 year old boy was arrested for "supposedly " riding a dirt bike on the sidewalk in city limits. Can you believe this? He was cuffed and dragged from the bike. To make matters worse, the boy was verbally abused by the police at the 'arrest" site and taken to the police station, in front of the boy's mother. Police BRUTALITY! ABUSE OF AUTHORITY!  Shall I go as far to say, that even though the child wasn't charged, it will be a part of his juvenile record until he is 21? Baltimore's Mayor should have the Police Chief's head on a platter for even allowing any of this to happen, and the officers involved should be placed on leave WITHOUT pay until they can attend sensitivity training. The child will be traumatized forever any time he sees a policeperson, and the parents should sue the city without delay. What's next? Toddlers arrested for not being strapped in their strollers?

I would have arrested the mother for allowing her 7 year old son to break a municipal law.

Only a scum bag of the highest order would arrest a kid for something so trivial.Almost as as useless as the jerkwad who would harrass someone for eating at their desk. They should both be kicked right in the nads.probably wouldn't do any good because it doesn't sound to me like either of them have any.

According to one of the officers he observed the child riding the dirt bike. According to the mother, the child was simply sitting on the bike while waiting for his father to arrive...she said that the keys were in her pocket. So we will have to wait to see what else comes out in the investigation.
The officer apparently grabbed the child by the back of his collar and dragged him off the bike the child got scared and ran into the house afterwards, he was handcuffed and arrested...seems a bit much for a kid that has just turned 7, I agree with CC & Kelly, if the child was actually riding the bike then it is the parents that should be held accountable especially since the mother was observing the whole incident.

Was their any other witnesses to this? Or is this just what the mother says happened?

Kelly, The article that I read didn't say. It just said that the mother was there and was screaming for the officer to let go of her child.

Thats exactly where I was going with it ex-mpd. If there are no other witnesses, this would work out ideal for the mother

you know ...this kid did what he did because of a=sh==e attitudes like yours ...and in too many cases others will have to deal with the beligerent behavior this kid demonstrated ... he'll likely carry his poor judgments into adulthood and grow bolder in the capers he commits ...at some point we'll have to provide him with housing in a more restrictive environment ...prison!!!, if ya' didn't get my meaning

I didnt see the whole story, but in snippets ... if the kid was breaking the law or ordinance, then CC and Kelly are right .. they should have busted the Mother. This is exactly what is going on with this country ... we think that because they are so young, they are totally innocent ... not ! Beagle you are right on again ... this little shi+ if not corrected now could end up wearing custom bracelets ....

it would be interesting to see if a large payday is coming for the Mother ... I hear Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have already booked flights ... seems like they need their dose of the limelight ...

oh "broom" ...the Sharpton-Jackson thing was cruel ...notttt!!, it was funny as hell ...there you go again "moses" ...I can assure anybody out there if I'd done the same thing as that kid I would've got a boot in the "backside" ...hell in walkin' home one day and gettin' caught in a shower I had the bright idea of walkin' in the gutter of the curbbing and daming up the water with my foot ...got home with shoes (only pair) soaked through and through including my pants soaked nearly to my knees ...well I got that boot and ya' know ...that got my attention …that I recall I did a "number" only once again along the way earnin' me the same manor of tender luvin' care and I swore off from there on out gettin'n into to somethin' that would ever earn me that kind of attention again …a true story ...that‘s not say I became some kind of angel but I carried a little something’ reminding me where the threshold was ...interesting how little an effort it takes sometimes to get a kid's attention ...

please though, I wouldn't encourage tryin' to be that effective in handling kid rearing these days lest you understand you may end up drawing the wrath of social services, law enforcement, the ACLU and who know how many others

There will come a day when your children and grandchildren will not belong to you and your husband. They will belong to the great leader!! The beast system or the antichrist will be your childrends and grandchildrens property in the near future!! I have been studying and researching about Bible Prophecy for 33 years now. And 2 of the secular books that I have read is Orwells "1984" and "A Brave New World"!! And most of you are already future puppets of the new world order and the brainwashed people of the State and Fatherland. And the upcoming "World Community"!!

No Comments about this!!?? Thats right!! You haven't heard it on tv so it doesn't count!! Sorry!!

Broom baby!! I love you and I cannot and don't want to join you down there!! If I went to hell as its captured and doomed prisoner; Satan and his demons would have a huge party in my honor as they will be having a flesh ripping orgy because they have captured somebody that has caused them a whole lot of pain and suffering for over 30 years. Most of hell will be rejoicing for days.

But that won't happen because I belong to God and Jesus and I will never go to hell as its captive. But God does show me what is going on in hell occassionally as I have heard Satan saying to his demons many times,""Stealing their souls is like taking candy from babies!! ahahaha ahahahah ahahahah!!""
