Based on what I read, I find this hard to believe.  She said she was subjected to verbal insults and sexual advances, but did not bring it up until she was fired from her 260,000 a year job, she says she was fired for bringing it up.  I dont recall her publicly speaking about anything until she sued.  Thomas and MSG (Madison Square Garden) say that she was fired for incompetence.  The jury consisted of 4 women, 3 men.

MSG will be paying the punitive damages, to be decided by a jury, as well as Thomas' figure whatever it is.  Both Thomas and MSG will appeal.  I know I'm going to catch it for this...but did you all see her? (and yes I KNOW sexual harassment and a woman's looks dont necessarily go hand in hand).  If he did it, what was he thinking?

I don't mean to split hairs, but this wasn't a criminal case, so there's no guilt or innocence by reasonable doubt. Isiah Thomas was found liable for sexual harassment by preponderance of the evidence, which is a far lower standard than reasonable doubt.

i am aware of that, however, this is how it was reported and thats how i posted it. its a civil litigation, just like what happened with oj after he was acquitted of murder charges. and yes you are indeed splitting hairs.

I think they should put Isiah Thomas and Larry Craig in the same stall and let 'em square off one-on-one to see who's the better dribbler.

Seriously, no matter which side you come down on in this situation, it is another American sports tragedy. People who have any type of psoition are easy targets for lawsuits, frivilous or not. Most of the time it is to extort some type of monetery settlement. Let's hope all involved learn their lesson and move forward.

I'm glad I'm a nets fan, the three stooges just
(Dolan, Marbury, Thomas) made the whole organiztion hang there head down in shame.
I can see Walt (Mr. Knick) Frazier, Willis(the Captain) Reed, Gentleman Bill Bradley, and Da bush Dave Debushere must be crying (and Dave's dead) Tragedy, yes.
