This is a mass media appeal for President Elect Brotha Smooov, if any blogger has seen this individual online of late, please have him check in with this administration as we surely miss your wisdom and thoughts.  I cannot run this administration without you as there are several items that need your immediate attention, so please by all means, contact your new house that was won on Tuesday, November 4th.

In my first VP address to the Fox 5 community bloggers, I stated, “I truly believe that the internet will play an intricate role in this government as our newly elected President has and is redefining how politics are viewed in this country”.  Well, I told you so now will you listen as approximately 19 minutes ago the AP released this headline, Obama to pioneer Web outreach as president.  This new way of governing is being called Obama 2.0, its first release that is seen as “an ambitious effort to transform the president-elect's vast Web operation and database of supporters into a modern new tool to accomplish his goals in the White House”.

Also in my first address as VP elect, I asked that you play along with me, let us get back to debating issues as we are the people, we have shown that our voices can be heard, and we know that we will not agree on everything but we can make this reality as we spoke, they heard, now let us keep talking!  Now, again, I am asking you to help me to help him to make this a reality as our voices can be heard, will be heard and it is up to us voters to make them listen, as “Obama's team is determining how best to convert his army of online activists into a viral lobbying and communications machine”.  According to the AP article, “The transition operation has a new Web site, http://www.change.gov, designed for anyone who wants to post a message of congratulations, offer suggestions for the new administration or apply for a government job”.

Once again, I told you so and now will you listen and join me as I ask for a third time that each of you, some I know, some I do not, and others I would like to repair relations with to let us ban together and make this site, our site the best in the new world of getting our thoughts out there for the world to see, we do care about one another as well as the issues.  Will you help me to make Fox 5 bloggers the beginning of President Obama’s new way of governing as we approach him with our issues for this upcoming administration, I await your reply.

A couple of days after the real election, I , your Vice President Elect, posted a blog seeking cabinet members for our new Fox 5 blogging site where we all can come together to discuss the issues that matter without hatred.  It was done as a joke per se but in actuality it can become reality as our President-Elect Obama will use the internet as a governing tool and we can change the way our government listens as we did when we voted in record numbers so that our voices could be heard.  To learn of the position still available in this faux administration please click on the link below.

As I stated in the blog, “I truly believe that the internet will play an intricate role in this government as our newly elected President has and is redefining how politics are viewed in this country. So I ask that you play along with me, let us get back to debating issues as we are the people, we have shown that our voices can be heard, and we know that we will not agree on everything but we can make this reality as we spoke, they heard, now let us keep talking!”  So please sign up soon as we can make this a great site again where everyone discuss issues either agreeing or disagreeing but cordial at the same time, so let us show the other sites that Fox has the best bloggers who are really interested in changing how our government governs.

It is my pleasure to announce that the following individuals have accepted positions thus far, and whether you like me or not, let us ban together to show our new Leader that we the people of Fox 5 are with you and are willing to change.

  1. Tees – Secretary of Education
  2. WBoyd – Secretary of Commerce
  3. Linebacker – Speaker of the House

Now these are the position left to fill, as you can nominate someone or yourself, but please help me to continue on the path of change as I have nominated a few people who have yet to accept, so if you would be so kind as to let your feelings be known it would be great.

  1.  Attorney General
  2. Secretary of Interior
  3. Secretary of Agriculture
  4. Secretary of Labor
  5. Secretary of Health and Human Services
  6. Secretary of Housing and Development
  7. Secretary of Transportation
  8. Secretary of Energy
  9. Secretary of Veteran Affairs
  10. Secretary of Homeland Security
  11. Administrator of EPA
  12. Director of OMB
  13. Director of NDCP
  14. USTR
  15. Chairman, BoG
  16. Commissioner of SSA
  17. Director of NI

First, thank you all for the vote of confidence as we embark upon this new journey to a new dawn of change for America and our community site here at Fox, as I know that I did not get the vote of all my fellow community bloggers as I am not nor was I ever the favorite but I am your New Vice President too, lol, could not resist that one.

Now, many of you know this inside joke that was posed by a blogger during our strenuous election process as I was nominated for the VP role, Brotha Smoov as President, and as you can see I have played on that joke for some time now, with great fun I might add. Regardless, I took the liberty of appointing several positions in which Linebacker has been deemed Speaker of the House, Milu was Secretary of State until this blogger disappeared, and Microbrother as National Security Advisor as we all had strong opinions on various issues. Now, I have several more positions to appoint if these people would be so gracious as I am looking to make this site as it was from the beginning, a place where the community can come together in harmony to agree to disagree as I look for bi-partisanship in my quest.

First, I would like to appoint Jadeddude as the Secretary of Defense as his views on our national defense is great and I believe with the help of Microbrother they both can keep us informed of the various issues. Sir Jadeddude, if you would be so kind and in accordance with my President Elect Smooov’s agreement accept the nomination it would be greatly appreciated as your service is needed to bring this blogging community together in harmony to discuss issues.

Second, I would like to appoint Tees as Secretary of Education as she is one of the most informed individuals concerning history, and current events regarding our educational views. I have learned a great deal of historical facts and her research skills are off the charts for a lack of a better word. Madam Tees, if you would be so kind and in accordance with my President Elect Smooov’s agreement accept the nomination it would be greatly appreciated as your service is needed to bring this blogging community together in harmony to discuss issues.

Third, Donspoliticalblogdc, I would like to appoint as the Secretary of Treasury post as you have exceptional skills in your opinions regarding our budgetary issues and will bring great insight to the debate process here on the blogs as if you would be so kind and in accordance with my President Elect Smooov’s agreement accept the nomination it would be greatly appreciated as your service is needed to bring this blogging community together in harmony to discuss issues.

Fourth, Wboyd, I would like to appoint as the Secretary of Commerce as your views on our business and economy are controversial to say the least but at time makes great points as this is an administration seeking to hear all views whether they agree or not, therefore, if you would be so kind and in accordance with my President Elect Smooov’s agreement accept the nomination it would be greatly appreciated as your service is needed to bring this blogging community together in harmony to discuss issues.

Fifth, I would like to appoint CommanderBill as the Chief of Staff as his views are more than controversial but he too makes for great debates as long as he does not go “rogue” at times, lol. Anyway, , if you would be so kind and in accordance with my President Elect Smooov’s agreement accept the nomination it would be greatly appreciated as your service is needed to bring this blogging community together in harmony to discuss issues.

Now, there are various other positions available in this administration and I was having a difficult time appointing them so I am coming to the Fox bloggers to ask for help so that we can make this site as it was intended. Yes, it is a joke in a way, but not really, as I am looking to go back to the days where we discussed issues, offered our thoughts and agreed as well as disagreed with others thoughts on the subject. So I ask that each of you, some I know, some I do not, and others I would like to repair relations with to let us ban together and make this site, our site the best in the new world of getting our thoughts out there for the world to see, we do care about one another as well as the issues. This is not just for the old, but the young as well and then we can ban together, come to a consensus and let our government know we are watching, we care, and most importantly, we are involved and want to be heard!

Whom do you think would best serve as spokesperson for these posts, appoint your choice of bloggers, even if it is you whether you agree with them or not. Now, with the issues of government being too big, if you think some of these positions should be abolished, please way in as your voice will be heard and we will continue to change what needs to be changed and improve what needs to be improved, but remember, it takes all of us, not just some to make this happen. Now, please do not take offense if you did not see your name as you were on my mind but with the tension of late I did not want anyone to be offended in thinking I should have appointed them to something else, so I am letting you decided the position for yourself.

  1. Attorney General
  2. Secretary of Interior
  3. Secretary of Agriculture
  4. Secretary of Labor
  5. Secretary of Health and Human Services
  6. Secretary of Housing and Development
  7. Secretary of Transportation
  8. Secretary of Energy
  9. Secretary of Veteran Affairs
  10. Secretary of Homeland Security
  11. Administrator of EPA
  12. Director of OMB
  13. Director of NDCP
  14. USTR
  15. Chairman, BoG
  16. Commissioner of SSA
  17. Director of NI

I await your word as this may be a joke but we can make it reality and use this site to get the government to listen to our issues as long as we debate them in a desirable fashion. I truly believe that the internet will play an intricate role in this government as our newly elected President has and is redefining how politics are viewed in this country. So I ask that you play along with me, let us get back to debating issues as we are the people, we have shown that our voices can be heard, and we know that we will not agree on everything but we can make this reality as we spoke, they heard, now let us keep talking!

You Stated:

Lilbits;
Please Do not respond to any of my blogs!

I will delete anything you write!

You are just not coherent enough to make intelligent comments!

Comment checker is now on!

My post said:

Wow, you are really stretching this “Joe the Plumber” angle as he has been disputed by various reputable news sources of being a liar and now the McCain camp is allowing this man to grace their stage to speak on their behalf, do you not find fault with this approach? I shudder at the thought that so many Americans are falling for this line of attack, as Mr. Obama did not stop by this person’s house as being reported and “Joe” was not in a position to buy a business nor does he make the $250,000 as he proclaimed.

Hell, I can find other factors that this man is nothing short of a “reach” for the McCain camp and you people are still touting his praises, what does that say about the supporters as I see it as you all are okay with it and would probably elect this guy if he runs for Congress in 2012, boy are we the people in trouble. The thing that gets me the most is his name is not Joe nor is he the right choice in my opinion to speak on behalf of someone who wants my vote of confidence to put him in the most important position in our government, please do not do this to the American people as Joe is making it bad for all the hardworking Americans out there who are trying to get ahead, legally.

Now I ask you, if you feel as though I am not coherent enough to make intelligent comments I must take this as a compliment coming from an individual who is touting words by JOE THE PLUMBER. I am quite shocked that you would have enough decency to recognize good talent when you see it being as though you stretched a Liar touting misinformation about Obama, wow such eloquence coming from a misinformed person who gets the opportunity vote. I guess you consider yourself as one of the “Real Americans” McCain and Palin speak of, really!

Many on this site have suppressed a person’s right to respond to a blog and personally I think it is stupid at best as it takes away from the wonderful concept the folks at Fox 5 had in mind and I hope that eventually the moderator would just delete the no comment blogs, but that is wishful thinking.  Why would anyone want to suppress freedom of speech but yet tout that he or she is all for American rights, beats me as it seems to be hypocrisy at best, in my opinion, anyway, the point of my blog is to post my response to McCain’s Healthcare Plan blog which can be found on http://community.myfoxdc.com/blogs/RED-DOG1/2008/10/27
/McCains_Health_Care_Plan#comments

My comments are as follows in which I addressed one blogger’s as I took it upon myself although the person was not speaking to me, however, it is not to put words into the mouth of the original blogger .

The blogger asked, “Damn Red where do you come up with these? They are great.” Here is my reply:

You too can cut and paste these from the McCain website.  It is funny that many believe this mess McCain is touting with his health plan.  I have a question for the two of you, if this was really true, why cut and paste, why couldn't the blogger just simply outline the differences in his own words.  Well, I can tell you why, as I was always taught, never ask a question you do not know the answer to, because McCain's plan is as lame as the website, that's why and he cannot counter Obama's plan.  Wow, keep cutting your nose to spite your face by not accepting that change will happen with or without you.

Back during the beginning of the month I posted a blog entitled “another one bites the dust” in which John McCain dropped out of the presidential bid in Michigan, well, I am back much to the dismay of many.   With that aside, the RNC has halted all presidential ads in Wisconsin, in which I am rather disappointed because in the previous blog my money was on the fact that Virginia or North Carolina would be the next victims, but I must admit I was wrong, this one was unexpected.

Now according to Jim Kuhnhenn, an Associated Press Writer, “The shift in advertising resources suggests that the RNC has decided to focus on defending reliably Republican-voting states” in which I ask voters, if you are forced to defend your own territory what does this say about your campaign strategy. If you have to fight to keep states that generally lean in the GOP favor, does this equate with you having trouble with your own base as well as having issues swaying independents? I asked you voter then and I will ask you again, do you think this is the first of many others to come or is this an anomaly, you decide and let me know what you think. On another blog, I stated ” I think we have seen all we need to as I am awaiting the suspension of their bid for the White House, maybe that will be the grandstanding surprise tonight, hopefully”, do you think there is any validity in my words?

In case you missed that blog referenced in this one, it can be found on: http://community.myfoxdc.com/blogs/LilBits/2008/10/02/

In a well-hidden story over the weekend probably due to the bailouts of several corporations, seven Palin aides have now agreed to testify in the abuse of Power scandal, according to Matt Apuzzo, Associated Press Writer on Sunday.  In his article, Mr. Apuzzo stated, “Lawmakers subpoenaed seven state employees to testify in the inquiry but they challenged those subpoenas. After a judge rejected that challenge last week, the employees decided to testify, Alaska Attorney General Talis Colberg said”, wow it seems as though we are going to finally get to this bottom of this scandal.  To view the entire story, please visit http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081006/ap_on_el_pr/palin_

I ask you, if she were to become VP, would she also abuse the powers allowed by the US Constitution as she stated during her debate with Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware, let me know what you think.

According to Fox 5 Website John McCain’s reply to why he has been losing in the polls since the financial crisis was “because life is not fair”, well Mr. McCain did you ever stop to think that no one has faith in you to lead this country?  Did you ever stop to think that although you have many supporters in the GOP party, you are not very popular with the American Public as a whole?  Did you ever stop to think that losing in 2000 to the current president makes you even less likely to win this time around?  Did you ever stop to think that the ideology you have is resulting in the poll loss?  Personally, I do not put much stock in poll numbers and know from history what the Bubba vote can do, but I do believe that some of America has opened their eyes and the way you showed the disdain for your opponent during the debate clearly showed what kind of leader you would be.  Now I am fully aware that you have a base that thinks along the same lines as you do, but I am confident that common sense will prevail in the general election as America realizes we need someone who will bring unity to this country and restore America’s values in the global world.  Mr. McCain goes on to say that “"Look, we're doing fine,” as well as “But I'm very happy with where we are", however, I beg to differ even though I do not put much stock in poll numbers it is easy to ascertain that the more the McCain campaign speaks, the more and more America shouts, NO HOW, NO WAY, NO McCain or Palin!

After days of turmoil and child like tantrums regarding this massive taxpayer bail out, John McCain’s camp announced moments ago that he will debate Mr. Obama tonight as if this big surprise.  It was highly irregular for a presidential candidate to suspend his campaign and use the debate as a hostage to get a bill passed in Congress, but when we are speaking of a man who has called himself a “maverick” or an unconventional person, these actions have proved true to form.

According to the AP, this story says it all and if any person that was undecided should have all facts to decide, this man is not ready to lead.

By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer 3 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Republican John McCain agreed to attend the first presidential debate Friday night even though Congress doesn't have a bailout deal, reversing an earlier decision to delay the forum until Washington had addressed the financial crisis.

A teacher in Jackson, Mississippi asked her 6th grade class how many of them were McCain fans.

Not really knowing what a McCain fan was, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny.

The teacher asked Little Johnny why he decided to be different... Again.

Little Johnny said, "Because I'm not a McCain fan."

The teacher said, "Why aren ' t you a McCain fan?"  Johnny said "Because I ' m a Democrat."

The teacher asked why he's a Democrat.

Little Johnny answered "Well, my Mom's a Democrat and my Dad's a Democrat, so I'm a Democrat."

The teacher asks, "If your Mom was a moron, and your Dad was an idiot, what would that make you?"

With a big smile, Little Johnny replied, "That would make me a McCain fan."

 I always liked Little Johnny!

I am appalled that this current administration and the McCain camp would even attempt this latest move of holding the Presidential Debate hostage in order to quickly pass a bailout bill that would put billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of those Wall Street companies who have already failed Americans. Yes, I see this as a hostage negotiations when the McCain camp announced moments that he must drop everything and head back to Washington to work on the bailout, well Mr. McCain, I have a question, did you do that same thing for the hurricanes that tore up the South and other areas, no.  Did you do that same thing with these wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, no, why because you were not losing in the polls at that time, correct?

I cannot believe for the life of me that you Mr. McCain and our current President would insult the American people as you have done last night, as I am trying to figure out who would consider the mess that you two are touting to be gospel, as this current crisis has been going on for weeks now, but you want us to act quickly, why, is it the fact that there are only 40+ days left before you get those cronies of yours richer? I, an American Taxpayer, do not want to bailout these rich folks any longer, you have taken all of our money to bail out Fannie and Freddie, used it on these wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, who by the way, is hoarding 80 billion taxpayer dollars as it is and possibly more, now you want us to bail out others, well, as I asked previously, who will bail us out when we can’t afford the basics?  Personally, I see this latest move by the GOP party as nothing short of a hostage situation in which the American Taxpayers need to start paying attention to as this is going to ruin this country if we allow these politicians to conduct themselves in this manner, please do not think for one moment this has anything to do with the crisis, this is nothing short of John and George strong armed robbery of us, which in my opinion is a crime as well as hostage taking.

Wow, I thought I had seen it all over years when it comes to politics, but to my surprise the best is yet to come as they say, now let us welcome our VP Nominee Mrs. Sarah Palin into the mix.  First, Mrs. Palin comes into the equation by reason of default, as it seems apparent that no one else was qualified to run as GOP VP Nominee, or so the party has led us to believe.  Then, Mrs. Palin prior to accepting the nomination, states “she does not know what a VP does”, wow, and she wants me to vote for her because I am a woman, not today, not tomorrow, not ever as I would like to have access to my VP in theory.  Next, she is accusing the media of being biased but has yet to make herself readily available for interviews as others in her line of work has, as I wonder why, does she not have a script handily available to speak from talking points, or is it that the McCain camp does not have anything to tout but Country First?

According to an article by Kenneth P Vogel, (http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080923/pl_politico
/13791
) “Palin, whose meetings here were all to be private, has yet to hold a press conference with her traveling press corps, and her campaign has tightly restricted which media outlets have gotten face time with the candidate”.  Now I ask voters is this the fault of the media or the campaign for not allowing us to get to see this woman in her true persona, because as a voter who is tired of the Republicans asking me to switch parties this time around and does not give me any reason to want to go against the grain. If you disallow the media to cover events held by you, then what is it that you expect from the media, as this seems really simple to me, stop allowing script reading and answer questions.

Yes, it is a historic election to have the first woman VP on the ticket, however, it is not an election that can be won because you are a woman at least in my opinion.  Mrs. Palin, if you want anyone to consider you as genuine then open up to the media as the voters cannot learn who you are until you do, plain and simple.  It is not the media that is denying you access, but rather you denying them access to you, so I ask you, if you want me to jump on the gender bandwagon, stop using our gender to promote your own ladder climbing and open up access to the media.

I find it rather disturbing that many on this site will post nothing but rhetoric that is nothing short of  unsubstantiated comments which they confuse with facts but will not allow others to address his or her thoughts, what is the purpose?   In keeping in line with the Terms of Service as addressed by the moderators, I will not call names but I will say that it is very cowardly of those who post but refuse to allow others to participate, but hey, many of these same people are GOP supporters and that is their SOPs, right.  Now, it is easy to ascertain that we are all allowed to post whatever as long as they are in line with the TOS, but when people of this caliber does something of this nature, what does it really imply?  Anyone who has the answers to the questions I asked are free to help me understand as the usual suspects will probably make demeaning statements but again, what is to be expected from the very ones who scream freedom of speech yet deny others the same rights.  Wow, to think this is the United States of America and Fox 5 has allowed the community to come together and have intelligent conversations about issues that affect us all, what a waste of a good resource when the community cannot address the opinions of others that post.

Putin says suspects U.S. provoked Georgia crisis

1 hour, 53 minutes ago

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080828/pl_nm/georgia_osse
tia_putin_dc

Excerpts:

"It is not just that the American side could not restrain the Georgian leadership from this criminal act. The American side in effect armed and trained the Georgian army," Putin said in an interview with CNN, part of which was broadcast on Russian state television.

"Why ... seek a difficult compromise solution in the peacekeeping process? It is easier to arm one of the sides and provoke it into killing another side. And the job is done.

"... The suspicion arises that someone in the United States especially created this conflict with the aim of making the situation more tense and creating a competitive advantage for one of the candidates fighting for the post of U.S. president."

Now, my question is how believable can these statement be, as I can see where he might think such as thing as this is not uncommon to the GOP, just stating facts. Let me know if you think that this would have any effect on the election and if it would help one side, as we all know McCain has ties to Georgia, right.

Facts:

McCain supports Georgia

http://article.wn.com/view/2008/08/13/McCain_supports_
Georgia/

Excerpts:

YORK, Pa. - Republican John McCain yesterday phoned Georgia's president to tell him that Americans are supporting his "brave little nation" against Russia's military attacks - and blasted Russian leader Vladimir Putin, whom he accused of wanting to restore the czarist empire.

McCain told more than 2,000 voters that he spoke with President Mikhail Saakashvili of Georgia, who offered his "heartfelt thanks" for US support.

"And I told him that I know I speak for every American when I say to him, 'Today, we are all Georgians,' " McCain declared to loud applause.

At a huge outdoor rally hours later in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, Saakashvili mentioned what McCain had said, and the crowd applauded.

Tell me if what Putin is saying is true, which candidate would benefit the most from this as I see it like I see everything that lead to Iraq and will resonate Hillary’s words over and over again,

NO WAY, NO HOW, NO MCCAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
