I was horror-struck to learn that there was a melee at Anacostia High School where five students were injured with three of them stabbed during a time when police, parents, teachers and city officials held meetings to discuss avenues to curb teen violence.  Well, I guess that did not work out so well as a small fire was set during the evacuation of the schools 1100 students as more fights broke out as well, what is going on, parents, take back your children, and children, take back your education as many have died so that you are afforded the same opportunities as others.

The Washington post staff writers reported yesterday, “the incident comes during a time of rising concern about security and discipline problems at DC schools” and now we all have to sit back watching each of you kill or maim another over a neighborhood beef that none of you have any idea what it is about.  In this article, it stated that, “youth violence and the difficulty of deterring it was a topic of discussion elsewhere in the city yesterday” but one must ask how many parents, children or neighborhood members actually showed.

Now, my first issue is that students are suppose to go to school for an education, not a boxing match, so I am asking, why did the parents not step in a beat some tail as that is what some of these students need. However, “other officials appealed to parents to assert more control over their children’s school behavior” something that illustrates my first issue, what are you parents doing to curtail this sort of action in school.

My second issue is with the police department personnel who were assigned to the school, why did you not prevent these kids from trying to kill each other, as that is your job right.  My third issue is with the children who bring neighborhood beefs into the schoolyard, is this any kind of way to secure your futures.

Well, although I am not a parent, but an aunt of 20 plus school aged nieces and nephews, do as it was done to me, if you cut up in school, you got embarrassed in front of the entire school, thus making you never wanting to do what you did again, it works, as I turned out great and learned a lot.  I am imploring every one of us, whether you are a parent, aunt, uncle, cousin, sister, brother or just a neighbor, please let us take back our children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and such as we are losing them by astronomical numbers and this must stop, this is our futures.

How many of you have children that is in school, how many of you would never tolerate such behavior, how many of you actual get involved with every aspect of your child’s education, does it really matter, yes, it does.  Now, I ask you what are you as a person going to do, should we just sit idly by while our younger generation kills each other or does it take each one to teach one to bring this kind of action to a close.

People, please tell me what is going on, why can’t the parents take back their children, and children, why can’t you all take back your education as it is very important to become a productive member of society, let us stop the foolishness and get this right as we write our own history.  It would be nice to pick up the paper or turn on the television and not see these sorts of stories because I know if we all work together, then the words, YES WE CAN, will ring true again!

City threatens blind woman over unpaid 1-cent bill

Tue Nov 18, 9:19 am ET

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – A 74-year-old blind woman was shocked when her daughter found a letter from the city saying a lien would be placed on her home unless she paid an overdue water bill.

The amount? 1 cent.

Eileen Wilbur told The Sun Chronicle of Attleboro the letter sent her blood pressure soaring, and pointed out that stamps cost 42 cents.

City Collector Debora Marcoccio said the letter was among 2,000 sent out. A computer automatically prints letters for accounts with an overdue balance, and they are not reviewed by staff before being mailed, she said.

The letter warned of a lien and a $48 penalty if the overdue bill is not paid by Dec. 10. The charge was from the previous fiscal year, which ran from July 2007 to July 2008.

"My question is, how come it wasn't paid when the (original) bills went out?" Marcoccio said.

Wilbur's daughter, Rose Brederson, who discovered the bill in her mother's mail, called the situation "ridiculous." But she said her mother, who has lived in the home since 1959, would likely end up paying the penny.

Now it would seem to me that it took them more money to process a one cent bill than but what I cannot understand is why in the hell the State of Massachuetts would threaten to put a lien on the elderly for one cent, please someone help me get this one?

When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive....so, I took her to a gas station..... and that's when the fight started....

I tried to talk my wife into buying a case of Miller Light for $14.95. Instead, she bought a jar of cold cream for $7.95.   I told her the beer would make her look better at night than the cold cream. And that's when the fight started.

After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later.  The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt'. So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application.  When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office.  She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You might have gotten disability, too'......And that's when the fight started.....

My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table.

My wife asked, 'Do you know her?'

'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend.

I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.'

'My God!' says my wife, 'Who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'

And that's when the fight started....

I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car.

You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny?

Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... he was a DWARF!!!

He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted,

'I AM NOT HAPPY!!!'   So, I looked down at him and said, 'Well, then which

one are you?' And that's when the fight started.....

I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason, took my order first.

'I'll have the strip steak, medium rare, please.'

He said, 'Aren't you worried about the mad cow?'

'Nah, she can order for herself.' And that's when the fight started.....

It was such a welcoming sight to see that Dunwoody will be the first female four-star general in the US Army as reported by the AP approximately 17 minutes ago and we women will continue to make drastic changes in the workforce, as this will not be the last time. The AP has called this “breaking the brass ceiling” and I must agree as I ask all women as well as men to congratulate the US Army for finally taking this step and pray that more and more qualified women are considered for upper position in our Military as we can, we did, and watch us continue to make changes, wow, finally is all I can say.

Tell me how you feel about women in the military and if you think this is a long time coming, as we all need to recognize that each of us regardless of gender, national origin, creed, or religion have valuable assets to attribute greatly to our country. To view the entire story please follow the below link as it makes for great reading.

With the election looming over our heads many of us may have missed the news of Michael Crichton, the great author of Disclosure which later became a number one movie, or Jurassic Park, another novel turned block buster movie, who passed away on November 4, 2008 at the age of 66.  I would like to take this moment to offer condolences to his family, friends and readers of his great novels as well as the moviegoers who have come to love him.  I am an avid reader of all kinds of novels and Michael was one of my favorites, and my heart aches, as I will not have the pleasure of reading any new material of his again but nevertheless, I pray that you rest in peace as you may be gone but never forgotten as you too will be a part of history.

There are no words that can outdo these words so I ask that you truly read them to realize the significance of yesterday’s vote as we have come full circle, so let the dream live on as I am finally getting my wish as my bio states. Thank you all that voted yesterday and to those of you that did not cast a ballot on the right side of history, I thank you as well because you too will realize that we are truly ONE PEOPLE, with ONE VOICE, that will show the WORLD, YES, WE CAN!

President Barrack Hussein Obama, November 4, 2008:

If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible; who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time; who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.”

“It's the answer spoken by young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled - Americans who sent a message to the world that we have never been a collection of Red States and Blue States: we are, and always will be, the United States of America.”

Martin Luther King"Give Us the Ballot," Address Delivered at the Prayer Pilgrimage for Freedom
17 May 1957, Washington, D.C.:

“Speaking last, King exhorts the president and members of Congress to ensure voting rights for African Americans and indicts both political parties for betraying justice: "The Democrats have betrayed it by capitulating to the prejudices and undemocratic practices of the southern Dixiecrats. The Republicans have betrayed it by capitulating to the blatant hypocrisy of right wing, reactionary northerners. These men so often have a high blood pressure of words and an anemia of deeds."

“Although turnout for the Pilgrimage did not reach organizers' goal of fifty thousand, the event was well noted in the press, and King's address in particular received much positive attention. Harold Sims, sent by the U.S. National Student Association to cover the Pilgrimage, described the day: "Throughout the afternoon of May 17th, 1957, the air was filled with shouts of 'amen' and 'hallelujah' as the speakers sounded their voices in defense of civil rights. Handkerchiefs flew above the heads of the crowd as it listened to the fiery orators. . . . They were jubilant sounds . . . sounds of disillusioned souls discovering their country." The following is taken from an audio recording of the event.”

A Realistic Look at the Question of Progress in the Area of Race Relations
Address at Freedom Rally

Now let us notice first that we've come a long, long way. You will remember that it is was in the year of 1619 that the Negro slaves first landed on the shores of this nation. They were brought here from the shores of Africa. Unlike the Pilgrim fathers who landed at Plymouth a year later, they were brought here against their wills. Throughout slavery the Negro was treated in a very inhuman fashion. He was a thing to be used, not a person to be respected. (Yeah, That's Right) He was merely, [applause] he was merely a depersonalized cog in a vast plantation machine. (Yeah) The famous Dred Scott decision of 1857 well illustrates the status of the Negro during slavery. For it was in this decision that the Supreme Court of the nation said, in substance, that the Negro is not a citizen of this nation. He is merely property subject to the dictates of his owner. Living under these conditions many Negroes lost faith in themselves. Many came to feel that perhaps they were less than human. So long as the Negro accepted this place assigned to him, so long as the Negro patiently accepted injustice and exploitation, a sort of racial peace was maintained.

I Have a Dream - Address at March on Washington

August 28, 1963. Washington, D.C.

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

“I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.”

“I have a dream that one day the state of Alabama, whose governor's lips are presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.”

“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.”

“This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the South. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.”

“And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!”

President Kennedy's Civil Rights Speech

June 11, 1963

“I hope that every American, regardless of where he lives, will stop and examine his conscience about this and other related incidents. This nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened.

Who among us would then be content with the counsels of patience and delay? One hundred years of delay have passed since President Lincoln freed the slaves, yet their heirs, their grandsons, are not fully free. They are not yet freed from the bonds of injustice. They are not yet freed from social and economic oppression. And this nation, for all its hopes and all its boasts, will not be fully free until all its citizens are free.

We preach freedom around the world, and we mean it, and we cherish our freedom here at home, but are we to say to the world and, much more importantly, to each other that this is a land of the free except for the Negroes; that we have no second-class citizens except Negroes; that we have no class or caste system, no ghettos, no master race except with respect to Negroes?

Now the time has come for this nation to fulfill its promise. The events in Birmingham and elsewhere have so increased the cries for equality that no city or state or legislative body can prudently choose to ignore them. The fires of frustration and discord are burning in every city, North and South, where legal remedies are not at hand. Redress is sought in the streets, in demonstrations, parades and protests which create tensions and threaten violence and threaten lives.

We face, therefore, a moral crisis as a country and as a people. It cannot be met by repressive police action. It cannot be left to increased demonstrations in the streets. It cannot be quieted by token moves or talk. It is a time to act in the Congress, in your state and local legislative body and, above all, in all of our daily lives. It is not enough to pin the blame on others, to say this is a problem of one section of the country or another, or deplore the fact that we face. A great change is at hand, and our task, our obligation, is to make that revolution, that change, peaceful and constructive for all. Those who do nothing are inviting shame as well as violence. Those who act boldly are recognizing right as well as reality.”

Thy will I choose; I give to Thee
All of the life Thou gavest me;
Thy will I choose, no life I ask
Except to do Thy given task. —Anon.

Many of you have deemed me to be a bible thumper but I beg to differ as you cannot see the Child of God that is before you which is why I speak of HIM so often and dearly in all my endeavors, in which my intentions is not to try changing anyone’s religion or stance on it.  For me, I cannot do anything without the ONE who created us all so if I come across as the “bible thumper” that I have been deemed please do not condemn me for following behind the only force that can change us all because I stand in the wilderness screaming to be heard for HIS wonderful word.  I come to speak again today to show many that my cries are not going away as it surprised not just me who gives HIM my all, but everyone who will hear HIS voice when he calls.

Just looking back over these last two years has proven to me that HE will dry all our tears, heal all our pain, and provide us a path consisting of change.  Did you know that on February 10, 2007 when our about to be elected President Barrack Obama made his announcement for the bid that God’s word stated “When we follow Jesus, all of life changes direction”, wow how is that for irony as you might not believe but I can surely see, we have come full circle.  Now, on August 28, 2008 when our about to be elected President Barrack Obama accepted the Democratic Nomination God’s words spoke again which stated “Whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”

Wow, how close can you get as God has provided us with an individual to lead us through a transformational change and if you do not want to admit it at least look at the ramifications.   It was a historic moment when this nomination was presented, as we had just surpassed a legacy of change with the celebration of MLK and JFK speeches during that time.  Finally, today God’s word is even louder to our ears if we would just open them to hear as HE discuss “Choosing Our Leader” which states “Each day we choose the one we will follow in life” and now we must sit back, count the votes and celebrate HIS choice!

Although Mr. Obama has my vote, my confidence, and is clearly my choice to lead the country it will never take away from the fact that every person must choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve . . . . But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

My heart goes out to the Obama's today as it was just released that "Toot" has past away either sometime last night or early today.  I would like to offer my condolences to this family as they embrace for the biggest night of their lives and it is a shame that she will not be with them at this stage.  Nevertheless, just know that she will be watching from Heaven as you receive your crown tomorrow!!!!

Stay blessed and keep the path to change as we are all behind you in your quest.

My  name is Lilbits and I approve this message for change!

POW....yes that is true but how far can you get on that as this country has plenty of veterans of war who are not like this man!

Keating Five Member....yes, he was a part of the worse savings and loan scandal that hit this country and got a slap on the wrist which as brought us to where we are now in this economic crisis.  Both he and his wife, the druggie, had business interests in this mess, makes one wonder where he true votes lie.

The Maverick with Family Values....so you leave your first wife for a much younger and richer person all while the original one was suffering from a bad accident and disabled at the time...wow, that makes you a family man...why do we not see all your children on the stump with you...what about the darker skinned adopted daughter, where is she?  While still married to Carol, McCain began an adulterous relationship with his now wife Cindy which he married in May 1980---only months after dumping Carol and securing a divorce.  McCain then followed his young, millionariess wife back to Arizona where her father helped catapult McCain into politics...now if they decide to divorce, where would he be in politics?

McCain does not support women's rights.....he thinks that women doing the same job as a man should earn less....he thinks that a woman does not have a right to choose due to health issues......he thinks woman should be in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant...he wants women back in the days of being seen and not heard....a vote for McCain is a vote for women to lose the 88 years they have gotten thus far

John McCain and Rashid Kalidi...John McCain served as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI) during the 1990s which provided grants worth $500,000 to the Center for Palestine Research and Studies for the purpose of polling the views of the Palestinian people. The Center was co-founded by Khalidi.  A copy of the IRS filing for the IRI was published online showing the grant and IRI members.

Now a vote for John McCain is a vote for the demise of AMERICA, or parts of it as he believes there are two kinds of Americans, ones who are loyal to the Confederate flag, those who want to repair the racial harmony of this country.

Who is the real John McCain...no one knows as he just lies and uses people like Joe the Plumber to address any issue for voters to determine!

JOHN MCCAIN.....A MAVERICK WHO LIES CONSTANTLY AND GETS HIS SUPPORTERS TO BELIEVE IN THOSE LIES....AND THIS IS AMERICA.....

now if McCain supporters can post negative message about his opponent then I have the right to post the truth about their candidate!

It is really sad that you people have posted nothing short of negative propaganda on this site about one candidate and the only reason is his skin color, no matter what you choose to believe as you can clearly see from the ones who keep responding to these kinds of posts.  This really needs to stop as Joe the Plumber is nothing but a liar being touted by McCain’s camp, as he is no better than Ashley Todd and this is the kinds of things you people believe in, as well as the main reason I WILL NOT BE CASTING A BALLOT IN MCCAIN’S FAVOR, IT IS SO SAD THAT YOU ALL WANT A LIAR IN THE WHITE HOUSE LIKE THE OTHER ONE, JUST MORE OF THE SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you do not want to do it for yourselves, at least think about the young people who see their futures, as this is nothing short of sick to want to stick by someone who clearly hates parts of America!

There are several blogs on this site which dispute evidence but yet plenty of people still believe that these things are true and self-evident, so I ask you people, what does your vote say about you?  It has been said countless times by Mr. Obama that he is not Muslim, however, if he was would that be a problem as we the people of this great Ol US of A have the premise that all people are created equal, but Muslims’ right?  It has been said by many that Obama is a terrorist, yet there is no proof anywhere that he destroyed or plan to obliterate any race, building or other factions here in the US, yet many voters of McCain believe this, so again I ask, what does your vote say about you?  It has been said that Obama is a “Socialist” but with little evidence and a lack of understanding some voters believe this without thinking that it is only fair if one makes more money than I do why shouldn’t they pay more taxes than I do, where is the socialism in that as I ask what does your vote say about you?

If you are McCain supporter, can you honestly think that the campaign he has run really depicts who you are as a voter, if so, why would you want to associate yourself and your vote with the negativity that has been spewed?  Supporting this candidate in my opinion says you agree that hatred is the way that we should go as a nation and it is just fine with you to have someone who makes more money than you do to pay the same amount of taxes that you do.  Now, the issue I have with that is, why would you succumb to this notion as it appears to disallow you to get ahead but that is okay with you, as you do not need any wealth and you are just fine where you are in the tax bracket, right.  Furthermore, casting a vote in this direction clearly illustrates that you are just fine with thousands of people losing their jobs, health insurance, and the likes while big business CEOs continue to reap astronomical rewards for running companies into the ground while the workers are left with nothing, not even their pensions.

If you are an Obama supporter, can you honestly say that the campaign he has run really depicts who you are as a voter, if so, would you want to associate yourself and your vote with the change that has been spewed?  Supporting this candidate in my opinion says you agree that change is the way that we should go as a nation and it is not just fine with you to have someone who makes more money than you do to pay the same amount of taxes that you do.  Now, it is great that you would not succumb to notion that “spreading the wealth” is a bad thing for this nation, as you are clearly saying that you would like to be able to climb the ladder just like those that make more than you do, one day.  Furthermore, casting a vote in this direction clearly illustrates that you are just not fine with thousands of people losing their jobs, health insurance, and the likes while big business CEOs continue to reap astronomical rewards for running companies into the ground while the workers are left with nothing, not even their pensions.

When you go to the polls tomorrow and you are not sure how to cast your ballot consider the words here and ask yourself, what does your vote really say about you.  Once you answer that question, and you still might be undecided, then ask yourself, do I want to be on the winning side of history or do I want to be the one who stagnates history?  I am implore every voter to be sure that your vote clearly depicts the kind of person you are and the kind of person who wants a better world than what we have had for the quite some time as the healing process will take time.  However, if we are all in the same boat traveling the same river, it will take us all to make the journey to a new place, so get on board and let us people change history for the better of all people.

According to the AP today, approximately an hour ago has posted it biggest US quarterly profit ever earning $14.83 billion in the third quarter, now I ask you what is wrong with this picture as McCain WANTS TO GIVE OIL COMPANIES MORE BREAKS!  Now my issue is that the American people are hurting something fierce and then I see headlines like these:

1.      McCain Plan Offers $3.8 Billion in Tax Cuts to Oil Companies. McCain’s current plan would deliver $3.8 billion in tax cuts to the five largest American oil companies.

2.      McCain Missed Vote Repealing Tax Breaks for Oil Companies.

3.      McCain Voted Against a Windfall Profits Tax for Oil Companies and a Tax Rebate for Working Families

4.       McCain Supported Tax Breaks for Oil and Natural Gas Companies.

Now, I ask you, is this candidate someone who in touch with the average Joe like you and me or does he have big business interest at heart?  Is this more of the same Bush policy or would he really do something different, you decide when you pull that lever.  However, for now, with five days out let us debate this astronomical profit and tell me what you think of Exxon Mobil, as I am sure the other big oil companies will tell us how much of our money they have profited over the quarter.  Would you say that this latest news hurts McCain more of Obama in terms of tax cuts?

I have been a member of your community site for a couple of years now and am quite amazed that the premise you intended is not being used now, how sad as it was a great idea to bring the community together to discuss and air any differences.  Now, if the purpose of blogs is the ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format as well is an important part of many blogs, how long are you going to allow certain individuals to distort your very premise?  It is rather sad to see some of these cowards post political propaganda at best against one candidate but do not allow comments.  Now, according to your blogging policy, which states “You will not post content that is libelous, an invasion of privacy or publicity rights, defamatory, obscene, profane or indecent, abusive or threatening” however, I beg to differ with some of these posts and would like to know if you think I am off base with my assertions.

Now please know that I am not requesting that people be banned from posting but am concerned that your very foundation will lead others to vacate your site with some many of these blogs blocking comments as I rather enjoy your site.  I guess what I am asking is how long will you allow this type of blogging to continue before something is done as I counted just today seven on the first page of the news blog alone.  Personally, I think this takes up space from those who really have interesting subjects to discuss and a reader must scroll through this kind of mess just to get to those interesting topics.  In your “forum rules of discussion” it states “You agree that any content you post becomes the property of this station”,  well as owner of such I am imploring you to please do something so that people who are interested do not have to scroll through topics that they cannot make comments on  as it is very disenfranchising to say the least in my opinion.

Now, to all who reads this blog that is clearly addressed to the moderator please know that I am not asking for you to speak for them but hope you will share your thoughts on this subject so that it will help to unclog the tabs we have come to love over the years.  I am praying that if enough of us share our concerns that it will help to put the blogs back in the hands of people who are unbiased in their thinking and allow comments even if we would like to approve them first, let us ban together to get these excessive blogs off this site.

I was appalled to read that the ATF has foiled a plan to assassinate Barack Obama and stopped more than one hundred black schoolchildren from being killed as reported by Fox 5 today.  The story can be found on Fox’s homepage, as I did not want to repost it as the story in itself was horrible and I could not understand why in this day and age anyone would want to kill another based on color.  After reading this story on Fox, I also saw it on CNN and other major news networks as many of us know but only a few will be boisterous about it, this has not been the first time that word has been heard of someone wanting to kill our next President already.  If anyone can remember, right after he decided to run, the Secret Service began providing him protection before any other candidate in history, therefore, someone out there thought that this would transpire.  But people, I am imploring everyone, let us not get into this kind of behavior as the civil rights era should have taught us a great deal, and we are now beyond the fact that a person’s color should matter, now notice I said should, but in reality, it is more prevalent today than any other time in our history.

No longer do blacks have to sit on the back of the bus, no longer do blacks have to walk miles to get water or food as those sign are obsolete in this day, however, blacks do have to watch their backs sort of speak as there are people in this country who feel as these skinheads do, kill the all, right.  This election has proven one thing to me, that it is still hard in America to be black, as many people want us to forget and move on, but how can we when my people must deal with situations like this on a daily.  There are still parts of this country where a black person is not welcomed nor wanted, however, the time has come for us all to get back to basics and heed the lesson of 1955 to 1968, let us not repeat those times.  As many of us do not want to remember and many of us have children, nieces, nephews, cousins and others who do not know anything about it, but if we continue on this path, these same will have to experience it, and this means blacks, whites, Hispanics, Asians, and others.  Again, I am imploring Democrats, Republicans, Independents and non-party affiliations, let us get away from the path that some on this campaign trail as taken us as it will prove to be the demise of great ol US of A as many of us have or know someone who fought or fights for the rights we all have today, let us not make their trials be to no avail.

I am asking everyone who reads this blog, let us use this as a petition for changing our mindsets of how we see each other and if you want to comment fine, however, if you  don’t just add your screen name as a way to say I will do my part to not let these kinds of people destroy what all our ancestors fought for and what our relatives, friends and others are fighting for now.

Dear President Bush, Secretary of Treasury Paulson, and Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke:

Sirs, I mean no harm nor ill will as I am certain that you all believe that you have this country’s best interest at heart, but I am imploring the three of you, stay the hell off of America’s airwaves as every time one of you get the opportunity to speak, our stock markets take a nose dive for the worse. Now, the three of you implored the taxpayers of this country as well as our congressional leaders to get on board your “the economy is failing train” in which you three requested $700 billion dollars to overhaul the failing system, and remember your words, it was with grave importance that this bill is passed immediately, right.

Well, as requested and with grave apathy you three got your wish and yet it has failed to do as you stated as the fundamentals of our economy is right where it was a month ago, yet the three of you are constantly using the America’s airwaves to instill economic fear around the world. Now, last week, the G7 descended upon Washington to help stabilize not just our economy but theirs as well because Secretary Paulson needed global assistance in my opinion. Thus far, nothing that the three of you have spoken over the airwaves has resonated into stability moreover, if you ask me, it has hurt even worse, therefore, I am beseeching you three, sit back and wait out your last 20 or so days in complete quietness so that somehow, somewhere, the America and global markets can rebound and save the world, something that you all have not been able to do in the last seven years, please.

Sincerely,

American Taxpayer who cannot afford more of the same
