I am appalled that this current administration and the McCain camp would even attempt this latest move of holding the Presidential Debate hostage in order to quickly pass a bailout bill that would put billions of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of those Wall Street companies who have already failed Americans. Yes, I see this as a hostage negotiations when the McCain camp announced moments that he must drop everything and head back to Washington to work on the bailout, well Mr. McCain, I have a question, did you do that same thing for the hurricanes that tore up the South and other areas, no.  Did you do that same thing with these wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, no, why because you were not losing in the polls at that time, correct? 

I cannot believe for the life of me that you Mr. McCain and our current President would insult the American people as you have done last night, as I am trying to figure out who would consider the mess that you two are touting to be gospel, as this current crisis has been going on for weeks now, but you want us to act quickly, why, is it the fact that there are only 40+ days left before you get those cronies of yours richer? I, an American Taxpayer, do not want to bailout these rich folks any longer, you have taken all of our money to bail out Fannie and Freddie, used it on these wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, who by the way, is hoarding 80 billion taxpayer dollars as it is and possibly more, now you want us to bail out others, well, as I asked previously, who will bail us out when we can’t afford the basics?  Personally, I see this latest move by the GOP party as nothing short of a hostage situation in which the American Taxpayers need to start paying attention to as this is going to ruin this country if we allow these politicians to conduct themselves in this manner, please do not think for one moment this has anything to do with the crisis, this is nothing short of John and George strong armed robbery of us, which in my opinion is a crime as well as hostage taking.

Yes. It's more important to argue about foreign affairs instead of DOING THEIR JOBS. Who cares what the VOTERS WANTED when they voted them into office. They don't NEED to be working to fix it. Showboating and being a political hack IS important to the Libs.

You seem to be very confused as to my thoughts, as I am not saying for the politicians not to do their jobs but I am saying that “a Presidential Candidate” after my vote must be able to multi-task as John McCain has not been in Washington since April of this year, a proven fact by both parties and Obama was last here in July. Now, having McCain drop everything and state that he is putting his campaign on hold to rectify this crisis is nothing short of a hostage situation, plain and simple. He did not drop everything when the Hurricanes hit, nor did he drop everything for the Iraq & Afghanistan wars, which have been in progress for how long, yes, my point exactly. You can say that the Liberals are showboating all you want as you GOP supporters constantly react to these scare tactics and believe not everything stinks when it smells to high heaven. Say whatever you like, in my opinion McCain has played himself and his supporters into thinking this was a great move when in actuality it shows that HE IS NOT READY TO LEAD NOR IS HE READY TO ANSWER THAT 3 AM PHONE CALL. Can you tell me what was he able to accomplish by dropping everything and heading to Washington, nothing but a photo opportunity with the very person he is trying to shy away from, as he knows that his party is on the brink of packing it in.

If this was not a stunt, why would he stop campaigning, why won't he attend the debate, hell, it is evident that both of their presence did nothing to help the situation. Now, it has come to light prior to calling off his campaign that McCain telephoned George and afterwards, George spoke to the people, then he summoned Obama to the White House along with other congressional leaders, why?

Speaker of the House:

I did dial 911 but was told that there were too many impersonators on Capiol Hill to investigate this crime! Anyway, I love how McCain pulled this mess off and have his supporters believing that HE SAVED THE DAY BY PUTTING THE COUNTRY FIRST, yeah, ok, let us now sell them that bridge to nowhere ans see if they say thanks but no thanks, as I already have one, lol.

.....and while you’re picking up those “perps”, pick up Lee Atwater and Karl Rove as accessories, too. A hung effigy of Barack was recently discovered on a school grounds. I think ol’ Lee is still alive and well. If not, his spirit is!
