Now that I have your undivided attention as many of you REDSKIN fans are not going to believe what you are about to read as it is coming from a COWBOYS FAN 4LIFE.  Before you glance down the bottom of the page, please know that my medication is not working so well today and I am not responsible for the words that are written as I am having a moment of temporary insanity, so now to the shock of your lives:

IT IS ABOUT DAMN TIME ART MONK GO TO THE HALL OF FAME….yes, I said it, you might not believe it but I do like a few of the REDSKINs players and ART is the best you guys ever had or will have as he is a very stand up guy who never showboated but played the game unlike any other!

It was great to hear last night that Art finally got the nod and I pray that all goes according to plan as it is good to see Darrell on the list as well cause this is another one of your players who fits into the category with Art Monk………CONGRATS from one of your most despised  opponent’s FAN!

Now that I have spoken my peace and have gotten a better prescription to take care of momentary insanity, please know that this in no way mean that I will convert but does show that I am a Cowboys Fan I can recognize true talent when I see it and now back to reality, GO COWBOYS

I concur, I hope Art Monk gets into the hall this time, he was a great player and he deserves it.

Darrell Green and Russ Grimm should make it also, Redskins or not, they were great football players.

Cowboysfan:

I already have him in the Hall which is why I titled it "about time" as I am going on faith that he will make it this time around as I have no idea what the sports writers have been doing to him for so many years. I know one of the issues these sports writers seem to have is that if a player is not a showboater or loud mouth, then he will go to the bottom of the list. In Art's case I think most were just not interested enough to vote him in because he had such class and that is something missing from these modern day players. Although he was a big playmaker, the spotlight was not "PRIME TIME" material as deemed by the so called experts, so let us keep hope alive and induct him ourselves.

BTW, it seems as though we both are on the same medication at the moment, I am sure the Redskin fans are beside themselves as we are kinda hoping for another one of their players, but I pray earnestly they do not think we are closet SKINS fans, lol.

I hope that the powers that be finally decide to vote this man into the Hall of Fame. He has embodied what a real athlete should be: the consumate professional on the field and the consummate human being off. Others with like or lesser numbers who have had PR factories working on their behalf have been inducted and I would never want my son or daughter to emulate them. Let justice prevail and enshrine this man as he should be.

Absolutely, LilBits, and both Green and Grimm should get a chance, too. But Monk first---he was a great player, and is a good man, too.

I hope he gets in so that it is one less ting that Skins fans are crying about!

I love everyone as I want to be loved! I long to live in a world that was created from the beginning, where everyone deserves the right to be a human being regardless of color, creed, or national origin.
