Keep Your Heads Up Cowboy Fans.............It is Alright

It is very amazing to see so many REDSKIN fans spouting off regarding the loss of my divine COWBOYS yesterday to those Giants, which was a shock to others and me as the game was not supposed to end that way.  For all my COWBOY cohorts out there in SKINSLAND, let us not fret as those deadskins were on the couch watching that fiasco of a game praying for ABC (Anybody but Cowboys), as it is great to have so much love from a rivalry like them.  The season is gone but not forgotten as our COWBOYS gave us a season to remember as they overcame obstacles that has been in place since the days of the Great 3, Emmitt, Troy and Michael, well there is always next season and the BOYS will be number 1 again……so until 2009!


So if you are getting as much grief as I am today, remember this:

GOD CREATED THE EARTH IN SIX DAYS......AND ON THE SEVENTH DAY GOD SAID "LET THERE BE FOOTBALL"...AND IT WAS GOOD.....LATER THAT DAY GOD SAID, "LET THERE BE ONE TEAM TO RULE THE OTHERS, TO SET THE STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE"....AND WITH THAT HE PLUCKED A STAR FROM THE HEAVENS AND PLACED IT ON THE HELMET OF SILVER AND BLUE. GOD SAID, LET THEM BE CALLED THE DALLAS COWBOYS......

You can get back on your prozac now (smile). Sorry, God did not pluck the star from the heavens and place it on your helmets, just like nobody but yourselves dubbed you "America's Team." I have enjoyed this football season with all its ups and downs. sorry that you folks findit so hard to accept defeat but it will make you stronger. Joe Gibs talks about 'gut checks," The Cowgirls had one yesterday and failed. Thankfully Jerry Jones will not be featured in anymore commercials unless they do one for someone looking like he lost his dog.

LOL Tom,

JJ might not be featured in anymore commercials but we in the Washington area still have to put up with those obnoxious Eastern's car commercials starring "the dancing Redskins" lol.

I had to stop laughing so hard after reading your post as I knew I would probably get a lot of smart remarks but your's take the cake (smile). I hated that damn commercial and it is shows just how much JJ is involved in the team. Hopefully he learned a lesson from that commercial and keep his old butt in the owners box where he belongs.

Well I think advising the Cowboys to keep their heads up is a great idea! That way they can't see all the self righteous crap they are stepping in.
The next season is 2008 not 2009.
Also: Being such a religious person, don't you think your statement about GOD creating the Cowboys on the 7th day is a bit blasphemist?

And the Lord answered, "You have been guilty of the deadly sin of pride. You have strutted, named yourselves as the greatest and considered your team as greater than others. You have bourne false witness that I placed a star upon your helmets and annointed you the chosen ones. This was untrue and you worshopped false idols named TO, Romo and Barber. Had you found humility on your own, perhaps I would have blessed you. As it is you must spend time in the wilderness called the off season before you may try again for blessings. By the way, should you enter into my kingdom, you will find the streets paved inburgundy and gold and one of my favorite spirituals playing wonderfully in the air, "Hail to the Redskins, Hail Victory, Braves on the Warpath, Fight for Old DC!"

That was cute and in regards to your questions about blasphemist, no, as the way I see it GOD creates everything and everything that is made is made by GOD. This can be found in John 1:3 and reads "All things were made by HIM; and without Him was not any thing made that was made."

Although I do not have the power to forgive you I will pray for your forgiveness as this was funny and I owe you one next year. I know God created all the teams but the Redskins was not the first which is why they ended up with burgundy and gold instead of silver and blue!

You have no issues out of me and the other Cowboy cohorts who have gotten a little testy well bless them as it is just a game and GOD decided "ELI was unstoppable" so HE let the Giants win off our miscues! Anyway, I enjoy the banter we have shared this season and am looking forward to next year as I pray that your sense of humor does not change as it has been great! As I told all the COWBOY cohorts, Keep your head up, it's alright. And always remember you have a friend in me today, tomorrow and always!
