As a frequent blogger on Myfoxdc, I see alot of the potential in blogging. there are individuals who actually blog and comment intelligently and with the idea of exchanging information. Unfortunately there are those who simply look to try out their comedy routines and spout socio-political dogma. Teh one good thing about blogging is that you very soon see who is trying to say something and who is simply out for a lark (no pun intended). I have exchanged ideas with some very intelligent people on these blogs, and put up with some knuckleheads. all in all the good out weighs the bad.

Interesting comments in regards to blogging but unfortunately not everyone sees it as people expressing his or her views on particular subjects mentioned. Some people think that expressing ones views is a personal attack instead of how one feels about that subject, which then leads to venting, name calling, and other forms of hostility. Either way you look at this, some people tend to disregard the communications aspect of blogging and begin to defend his or her views, a sad but true fact. I truly wish others feel the impact of your blog as I have because for me it is all about communicating with each other, expressing ones views without hatred, but at the same time understanding how someone else may feel even if it is different. Additionally, it is about being liable when addressing work related issues, personal feelings or bad experiences with others, and so on, as blogging to me is not a forum for those purposes. Now, please correct me if my understanding and feelings regarding this blog is off base, as I have seen some things on this site which I thought was definitely not the way to handle the situation, but that is just me. Nevertheless, in answering your question as to what is my goal blogging, it is to share my views to subjects of interest, and communicate with others whether we agree or disagree. I am mindful of the promise and peril of blogging or just surfing the Internet, but with the technology of today how can one escape protecting his or her personal information when it is so easily available for anyone to steal.
