Okay. I know it doesn't work that way. Dreamgirls was not nominated for Best Picture, and we can't change that.
I've been waiting for this movie to be made since seeing (and loving) the musical on Broadway. I even forgave the movie producers for leaving out one of my favorite show tunes: This Ain't No Party. So, let me know if you think Dreamgirls deserved a Best Picture nomination.

Lark:

Not only should this movie get an Oscar, but also Jennifer Hudson, whom Simon Cowell stated would not make it as a singer, should receive one as her performance was outstanding and this does not take anything from the entire cast, but she really was great!

I agree with you about the quality of Dreamgirls. But after hearing Jamie's position on the use of the N' Word I have a hard time lifting a finger for him.

Lark, I watched the Golden Globe Awards with bated breath, to see if they were nominated for best picture. It's unbelievable that Queen had so many nominations and won so many awards. I think the message is pretty clear ! DREAMGIRL's was everything I expected, LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT :-)
