No official word. He just vanished. Probably got canned. Too bad, I thought he was one of the anchors that were fair and balanced. huh? maybe that's why he is gone.

And I totally agree Red-Dog1. Bob is awsome! Spoke his mind. You don't see that to much anymore. Everyone is to worried about offending people.

Kelly-00 I see you have met one of the crazies I eluded to on your comment on my post turtle blog. I love the fact that he/she/it proclaims in their latest blog(sic) that he/she/it allows comments.

On subject, I do not know what happened to Bob either. I read a blog a while back that said he was leaving or had already left, but I cannot find it at this time.

Thanks Starrman! I found the blog I think you are talking about. It was back on July 8th. She says that she saw on the message boards that he was gone. But there is no more info. I looked through the message boards but didn't see anything. ERRRR. I really liked him. Really spoke his mind and provided quite a few laughs.

Man, you go away for a bit and everything changes. I had no idea that Gurvir was pregnant. Totally surprised me. Last time I saw her on the news, she looked like she weighs 25 lbs. And I am woman enough to say that I don't mean that in a bad way. I am totally jealous. Me being a chunky style chick. LOL!

hi ya Kelly ...been a while but nice to have you drop in ...back in early June I believe it was, Greedy started really goin' off the dial and he drew some choice responses ...I put his post up through my blog and he went into some kind of triad, I'm tellin' ya ...he finally had a really strange blog removed that was low down and dirty with Starr takin' the brunt of it ...what has followed is FOX5 has given him some kind of status that enables IT to rant but exclude comments ...he's beside himself because we create access for responses to him practicin' copy and paste ...you've seen a sample here of IT's style and you wait he isn’t finished yet, probably …we took an alternative approach and allow his responses on our blogs to remain so all can judge for themselves about this character…

My husband and I were just discussing this a few days ago. He and Allison seemed to not get along at times. Even Julie Wright would give him a hard time at times when he seemed to act like a "Mr. Me Too." They would rag on him quite a bit if you think about it. He probably got sick of it.

I noticed that Allison and Steve are now listed as the co-anchors for Fox 5 Morning News 5-7.

They didn't even do a farewell or anything for Bob. That's too bad. What a cut throat business.
