So now they are no longer Christmas trees? Accodring to Lowes, they are now "Family" trees. THAT IS CRAZY. In a country that is supposed to have freedom of religion. Apparently its ok to celebrate any other religion EXCEPT Chrisianity. Its still ok to say "Happy Hannukah" and "Happy Kwanzaa" but a big old fat NO saying "Merry Christmas". It has to be "Happy Holidays".  Its ok to have menorahs with Hannukah on the packaging. And its ok to have kinara candles but you better not have a Christmas tree.

Whats next? Next year, are we not going to be allowed to call it a Nativity? Is it going to have to be called "A barn where a baby was born"? Or "A family barn?" Nope, you won't be able to say "Jesus".

No I am not saying that there should be no Happy Hannukah or Happy Kwanzaa. Thats your religion and you should be able to celebrate it. All that I am asking is that people need to show Christians the same respect. Allow us to celebrate how we choose to without worry that we will offend someone. Not that I worry about that anyway. I have never been one to worry about offending someone. And most of you know that ;) LOL!

Happy Birthday Jesus

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

As for me, next thursday, on Thanksgiving, I will be putting up my CHRISTMAS tree

I agree, I'm not going to say Happy Holidays! I'm saying MERRY CHRISTMAS. Now I just read that in Australia, they asked the Santa's to not say "BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP" but to say "HA HA HA" so that women wouldn't be offended. Well if you're a darn BLEEP you won't care what Santa says anyway. Just plain out crazy!

all of this is totally stupid. it should be Merry Christmas if that is what you celebrate, period.

point of information kelly - Kwanzaa is not a religious holiday, and was not created to be one or to take the place of Christmas. many black people dont know that either, so im not surprised that you didnt. i wish i had a dollar for everytime i heard someone black say that they werent celebrating Christmas because they celebrate Kwanzaa, i'd be rich. (smile)

...it's a strange, strange world of people we live among any more "Kelly" ...dammedest thing it's only a few that have to have their ideological mindset make others miserable...now we clearly see type of people that influenced development of the character "Mr. Grinch"...

where we goin' next ...I mean mindless influence of "the goose that laid the golden egg", little red riding hood, snow white and the seven dwarfs has to no place in today's sophisticated, politically correct way of life...BLEEP

I think all this PC stuff is crazy!!! I'm a Christian and I'm NOT about to take the CHRIST out of Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! ( and BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP from MS CLAUS) I hope that no matter what religion you are that you are blessed and that it's a safe one for you!

I once had a retail shop and my repairman was hebrew and I catholic so I had a x-mas tree AND a manorah(spelling?) and at sundown he would acll me and we would recite the incantations and I would light the candles. as far as qwansaa my african(native born) customers ask WHAT? they say qwansaa does not exist anywhere but here. so it to me is a "fake" holiday made up to give people an excuse not to come to work between xmas and new years
