So there was a cross burning on the lawn of one of OJ Simpson's lawyers this morning. To the idiot who did it, way to make this a racist thing. Now racisim will be thrown all over the place even more now thanks to you. This was not a racist situation. This is an  "OJ thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he wants to do" situation. That has already been proven once. I hope it won't be that way again.

Big Bubba is looking forward to OJ staying in jail for awhile. ;)  And we wouldn't want to disappoint Big Bubba

"This was not a racist situation. This is an "OJ thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he wants to do" situation"

No disagreement outta me on that one.....I agree 100%!

However, there are some white folks who are champing at the bit to see him go to prison because they are racist and/or prejudiced (had it been two Black ppl he murdered, they wouldn't be so bitter about his getting away with murder, and be hard-pressed to see him incarcerated). Just like there are some Black folks who support OJ just because he's Black (those with sense shun him, lol).

btw, I was VERY disappointed the day the "not guilty" verdict was read.
Contrary to what some ignorant-minded people seem to think, him getting away with murder was NOT a victory for all or some of the Black men who have been lynched, incarcerated, etc., for crimes they didn't commit. I mean, really now.

I agree with you tees. And I appreciate you saying some white people and some black people. Not lumping us all in to one group. The way I feel personally, it wasn't the fact that he had killed 2 white people. I would have been equally ticked off if the victims were of a different color. Because I looked at it as he just got away with killing the mother of his children. Those kids had to grow up without their mother because he killed her. And then got away with it.

tees, and Kelly-00, I agree, the fact that he walked away laughing, is what angered me, also that dillhole Robert Blake, and in all probability Phil Spector. UFB!

I think it's also a case of the "rich and famous" being able to buy their way out of trouble. We saw the same kind of thing with Paris Hilton.

OJ had fame. OJ had money---enough money to buy the best defense team in the country. And they got him off, like they were paid to do. So the message sent was if you have the cash, you can buy your way out of a murder rap or anything for that matter.

CC you hit it the nail smack on the head. Had he been Orenthal The Bus Driver Simpson, he would be on death row as we speak.

Phil Spector- you think he's going to get off? I can't believe anyone is buying that she shot herself! Puh-leeze.

Notice that Robert Blake has kept a VERY low profile, OJ would be better off taking notes from him, lol.

"So the message sent was if you have the cash, you can buy your way out of a murder rap"

You know, it wasn't THAT long ago that ones could buy off judges and DA's (generally speaking, not referencing OJ's case). This country's sordid pieces history (in all aspects) isn't as long ago as some people would like to think, lol

oh, "Puh-leeze" was directed at anyone who actually thinks that woman came to his house and then shot herself, as I just can't see how anyone can buy that. But then again, I have not been following the case to hear evidence, testimony, etc., so I really shouldn't be making any comments re; the case.

i saw someone on tv this morning (one of those talking head lawyers) who said that there is "sympathy" for spector because they found his semen on/in her and the defense is "she knew why she was going there (to have sex). what does that have to do with her getting killed?

as for oj, i agree with tees sentiments. not all black people were happy that he got off, but as you all have already said, money talks....

Spector might walk. Isn't the jury in it's 7th day of deliberation already?

Tees, I agree, Orenthal "the Bus Driver" Simpson would have been on Death Row. Britney "the waitress at Cracker Barrel " Spears would have had her parental rights completely terminated. Money talks, money buys, money is a good friend to have if you are in a boatload of trouble.

yes they are, but that was the reasoning behind them thinking that maybe he might be acquitted. something about making the victim seem less appealing because she should have known that she wasnt just going to his house for conversation or some other such nonsense.

im HARDLY an oj fan and most of you know that...but playing devils advocate for a moment, does this seem like some kind of set up to you? oj is talking to this guy who is supposed to be a known criminal (this "thomas" guy), he is videotaping the whole thing? he says that oj was supposed to go there alone and tell the dealer guy that he was either going to give up his stuff or oj was calling the police (yeah right, imagine that phone call-"hi this is oj simpson and i need the police), but then all these other guys show up to go along? are they all really that stupid?
