Hi Allison,

I hope everything goes well with Gurvir and her pregnancy.  I still can't believe she's having twins.  She looks so tiny on television.

However, it is absolutely great waking up in the morning and seeing you on the screen.  You are so hottt.  I don't know how Steve sits beside you.  He and the camera-men gotta be the luckiest dudes on the planet.  Imagine getting paid to follow you around the studio?  haha. You definitely got the news on lock in the mornings.  And the smile is so, so divine.  You sure you and Gurvir can't flip flop when she comes back?

Stay beautiful.  I love the clothes and hairstyles all this week.  You're a straight goddess.

Take care,

ps-I see Julie's even bringin it as well.  She looks great.  Her tan is all of it and I just saw her dancing before briefing us on traffic.  Too funny.

I wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my absolute favorite person on the FOX 5 news team, the beautiful, the classy and the legendary, Allison Seymour.  Tomorrow is your birthday, your special day to shine.  May you continue to enjoy many more for years to come.   Happy Birthday Alli. ;-)

Ok, somebody please educate me like I'm two.  Why am I turning on Fox5 news and hearing that school bus drivers are dropping off little girls in their neighborhoods by themselves?   Am I the only person who has a problem with this?

There are wolves and lions(of the two legged kind) waiting for goof ups like this.  Grown women can't even walk the streets without being stalked and they do this?  I don't blame the school or the day care, I blame the bus drivers.  It's common sense.  You don't leave a little child(especially girls) by themselves in a neighborhood, if no one is there to meet them.  I thought it was policy for school bus drivers to keep them on the bus and return them back to school.  Am I wrong?

I guess because I am a parent, this is urking me a little more than it might someone who is single.  However, in my opinion, if something had happened to those two little girls, I would not blame the parents, if they wanted the heads of the bus drivers.  In fact, I'd personally give them the sword.

I hope I don't have to hear another story like this again.

Ok, I feel kinda bad about bringing this up because I know there are more important things going on in the world.  However, if we can sit and debate over and over again about topics ranging from Paris going to jail, to a judge suing a local cleaners for 54 mill, then I should be able to get this off my chest.

There is a another Allison working for Fox5 in the morning and she looks absolutely incredible.  Today, as I was getting dressed for another day at the office, this beautiful face appeared LIVE from Forestville, MD.  It was another Allison.  Oh my God.   I'm sitting there brushing the same area of my head, like HUH?  As if MY Allison(Allison Seymour) wasn't enough, you guys at FOX bless us with another one?  Soon I will have no annual leave because I am not gonna want to leave my television because of all of these beautiful "Alleys" on camera at the studios.   They even have an Alley in the sky peeping traffic for us.  How funny is that?

Anyway, I do apologize but I really did need to get that off my chest.  I feel so much better now.  To Allison Seymour, fear not.  You will always be my favorite "Alley" but again, this "other" Allison covering stories live was a pleasant surprise.  We definitely need to see more of her.  And if the powers to be ever decide to put her beside my Allison, I promise you, I'm calling in sick that day because I will be.  haha

Ok.  I love kids to death.  I'm not one of those parents that forgot what it was like to be a kid.  I also understand that going to the store with Mom, isn't the most exciting thing to be doing, unless the store was Toys R Us. But as I was always told growing up, "there is a time and place for everything."

These heely shoes got to go.  Parents, if you take your children with you to the store, please tell them not to use these shoes to skate around.  It's so inappropriate.  Stores can be chaotic.  You have persons just getting off work, tired and barely focused,  the handicapped and elderly people trying to shop.  It's not a good look at all.

I was in the grocery store the other day and almost took out two beautiful kids because they simply cut my grocery cart off, to catch up with their mom.  That's not including my times at Walmart and Home Depot where kids think its cool skating around barely avoiding accidents.

I hope it doesn't take FOX 5 reporting that a child has died because of heely shoes to make people understand how dangerous these shoes can be.

I just finished looking at the story Fox 5 did regarding the two women who are seriously suffering from microscopic bugs crawling all over them and digging into their flesh.

I'm trying to figure out how this is possible that these bugs can stay on their skins and inside their bodies?  I mean, is there no antibiotic that can kill these things?  What happens when they shower?  What happens if they use rubbing alcohol?  What happens if they go into a pool with chlorine?   Was eating meat the cause of them suffering like this?

This story had me luncheon so hard, I had to view it again to make sure I was understanding it clearly, plus I found myself scratching my arms.  And then, the one woman who wakes up in her bed, only to find bugs in cocoons coming and going.  Are you serious?  Am I the only one who's scratching his head over this?  I can't believe they have not found a cure for these poor women.  I would think scientist all over the world would be knocking their doors down, begging for the chance to cure them.

I'm wishing the women featured in the story a speedy recovery(if possible) and anybody else who has to deal with this on a daily basis.

Ms. Lark,

Thanks for the wonderful memories over the years.  It was great hearing from those persons at FOX 5 who we don't get to see that are behind the scenes.  I think after listening to them speak about you, it's not only painfully obvious that you will be sorely missed but more importantly, EVERYBODY seems to respect you as a person and that's all a person can hope for.

Please don't forget to wish my Allison good luck, as she has huge shoes to fill.  But I support her 100%.  She will be just fine and hopefully when she's ready to depart, we can say the same things about her, that we are saying about you.

Take care and remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.  haha

Did anyone see the news this morning when they were showing Lark during her earlier years with Fox 5?  She looked absolutely stunning with those braids in her hair.   I think they even mentioned that she was in Africa covering a story when she had them,  which to me made her look even more incredible.

Any thoughts on that?

I love living in Southern Maryland but when will they start the process of widening roads and giving us more lanes?  Traffic is a trip going to work and coming home.  Thank God for cd players and Sportstalk Radio.

You would think with the population explosion going on in Waldorf and the surrounding area, this would be a legitimate reason to start considering adding lanes.  Don't they know single family homes are going up faster than gas prices out there?

Has anybody heard whether or not additional lanes for Route 301 has been discussed and if there will ever be an extension of the Green Line headed my way?

As most of us know, there was a terrible accident that occured on the Beltway, yesterday some time that left 2 people dead and several injured.  I don't know all the facts but from what I'm hearing there were several cars, a police cruiser and a motorcyclists involved.

It always bothers me that the majority of the motorcyclists I encounter seem to always ride according to their own rules.  I mean just straight up reckless.  Now, I'm not saying all motorcyclists are responsible but the ones I've come across seem to ride like they're above the law.  They have no respect for the cars around them and definitely no respect for the authorities.  Could this be because they can't be caught?  Probably.

There have been plenty of times, just this year that I was on Route 301 stuck in gridlock traffic and a motorcycle or three will just zip by me, between my car and the car beside me like it's nothing because they don't feel like waiting like the rest of us.  It's frustrating sitting in the traffic, tired from work, hungry and constantly looking at your clock wondering if you will be able to pick your children up from daycare before they close.  Meanwhile, the motorcyclists I've seen just ride like there is no tomorrow.  They don't care because they're above the law.  They know they can't be caught.  As much as I wanna open my car door up and watch them go flying over it because they cheat not respecting road lanes, I know I can't.  However, something has to be done.

We are only in the early stages of summer and I believe there will be a few more people being buried the next few months because of these motorcyclists who appear to be above the law.
