Drink The Kool-Aid

It always amazes me how fans of other teams, as well as fans of my beloved Skinz feel the need to speak negatively about the fans who are already mentioning that the Skinz are going to the Super Bowl.  Yes, it was one game.  Yes, we do have issues to address.  Yes, we will miss Jon Jansen.  Yes, Joe Gibbs is lying about Shawn Springs.  But what the hell is wrong with showing a little optimism?  Do the fans in Dallas think less of their team?  What about Philly?  Isn't that the goal?  If it's anything less than a Super Bowl, what's the point?  

 Now before you start throwing shots at me, understand that I am capable of displaying "rational" thinking when it comes to my Skinz.  But today, I don't want to.  We are 1-0.  Our defense is back.  We have a MONSTER middle linebacker who is involved in every tackle, as much as Ray Lewis.  We finally have a quarterback who has conquered the art of showing composure.   Clinton and Ladell are just getting started.   Why shouldn't I think Super Bowl? 

Speaking of points, here's mine....

Drink the kool-aid.  Sip the kool-aid.  Enjoy the kool-aid people.  As the year continues, the kool-aid might began to lose the fantastic taste it currently has.  Enjoy it while it's still sweet.  And if we are lucky enough to enjoy the kool-aid in February. Call a cab.

It means  WE ARE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS again.

Great post as usual!!!

DEon't we enjoy our sports so we can dream? GULP THE KOOL-AID!!!! As far as Cowboy fans are concerned, they see only their 45 points and not the 35 that a mediocre Giants offense put up on them. They have that right! Phillie fans are taking heart in the fact that they lost "because of special teams. tha is their right. giant fans are . . . oh well they have their dreams too. The central theme here is that we all love football and we all love our teams. Think of it this way: Don't you think your mate the most beautiful person in the world? (be careful how you answer this question, you never know who reads these blogs)(lol)

hahahaha. Thanks TomW. That's exactly what I'm saying. GULP THE KOOL-AID. These are exciting times right now. All of this could change by mid October. GULP THE KOOL-AID people.

hahahaha. No question. This mess with Shawn Springs is putting my great tasting KOOL-AID in jeopardy. But the game between your Cowboys and Giants had me wondering what it would be like if the Colts played the Patriots? A straight shootout.

I can't even imagine how horrible your KOOL-AID must taste after letting the Packers straight dawg you the first game. And if you think its nasty now, wait until 12am, early Tuesday morning. I'm sure that batch of KOOL-AID is likely to have bird feathers in it.
