Ok.  So it would appear that I owe the Colts an apology.  I actually thought that with the people they lost from free agency and injuries, they couldn't be the same team as last year.  Boy, was wrong... 

After watching the first NFL game of the 2007 season, it quickly occured to me that I made a terrible mistake in underestimating the Colts(particularly their defense) this year.  When the Patriots first signed Adalius Thomas, Donte Stallworth and Randy Moss, I was ready to give them all the spoils that came with winning the Super Bowl this year, like most people.  However, while watching the game  last night, it dawned on me that the road goes through Indianapolis.  They are the champions.  It's that simple.  Until someone de-thrones them, the road goes through them.   

Now if there is any team out there that can de-throne them, I believe its gotta be Brady and the boys of NE.  But the Patriots have to snatch the crown back from the champs to make me a believer.  You cannot think they get the crown automatically because they signed a few good players. You would think being a die-hard Skinz fan, I would've learned this by now.    Because right now, the Colts look like they haven't missed a beat.
