1982, 1987 and 1991.  If you ask any Redskins fan the significance of those years, they will without even thinking twice say, "the years we won the Super Bowl".

Well, I'm writing to the world of FOX Bloggers and my fellow Redskins family to publicly say, I believe Coach Jim Zorn(JZ is what we were calling him today at Redskins Park) could possibly make us put all of those Gibbs memories in storage for a while.  I think Coach JZ is on the verge of greatness as a head coach.  I believe we are witnessing  history in the making.  All of the pieces are slowly coming together for him and he could see a success similar to Jacksonville's Jack Del Rio or San Diego's Norv Turner last year, in just his first year.  Now some may say, KoKo you're luncheon.  You're a Skinz fan.  Of course you're gonna think that.  My response:  Being biased is great, try it sometime!

I like everything about Coach Zorn from how "unconventional" his methods are considered to how he appears to answer questions by the media from the heart without using the "jedi-mind tricks" Gibbs would use on reporters.  I like how he deals with the players, as far as treating them like men.  It will be interesting to see how he deals with "potential"  player problems and Clinton Portis antics. The one question I would have is whether or not he can drop the "hammer of reprimanding" when necessary?  He seems like a nice guy but can he turn into the HULK when necessary to demand perfection or are we dealing with a Bruce Banner all the time?

All and all, I think Coach Zorn will have a huge impact on Redskins history, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.  Also, be prepared to celebrate winning a few trophies along the way.  We may have finally found someone else to praise as a headcoach besides our beloved and immortal Coach Joe Gibbs.

Today, I was at Redskins Park with my son, my sister, my nephews and best friend.  It was hot as h*ll but if you're a die-hard Skins fan, the temperature didn't matter.  Only the "maroon and yellow". hahaha.  Sorry, I had to.  That was my first time ever at Redskins Park and it went from being "exciting" to "depressing"(because of Phillip Daniel's injury) to now being "aggressively optimistic" .  Honestly, I feel almost "Smoot-like" as far as  trash talking because of the recent signing of Jason Taylor.

People please give Daniel Synder and Vinny Cerrato their props for making this move.  I've always been pro-Dan, maybe not pro-Vinny but definitely pro-Dan.  I never understood how an owner can get so much criticism by providing a head coach whatever he tells the owner he needs to win.  Besides, am I the only fan that wants to see what this man will do with a Super Bowl trophy in his hand?  He is doing all he can to make that a reality.  I loved how the Skinz operated in the Draft this year.  When was the last time we had 10 picks in a draft?  It's so obvious they both learned so much when Joe Gibbs was here.  I admit I was a little worried about us selecting a punter but I won't judge.  I just felt we could've bolstered our defensive line depth by drafting a defensive end or tackle, instead of a punter.  But I won't criticize.  I mean the punter we got was the winner of the Ray Guy Award.  Plus, I'm thinking this will be a year of touchdowns and interceptions, with barely no punting.  Yep, we're either gonna put up 56 points on you or Jason Campbell will throw 56 INTs.  It's that simple. I'm kidding.

SIDENOTE: I know everybody loves Devin Thomas.  I had to hear a thousand times how cute my sister thought he was.  It drove me crazy.  However, to my people who know football, be on the look out for Malcolm Kelly.  This dude is the real deal.  You heard it here first.

Anyway, Dan and Vinny thanks for snatching up Jason Taylor from the Dolphins.  You went out and got arguably one of the best defensive linemen playing today.  More importantly, thanks for not giving up our entire 2009 draft picks doing so.  I think this proves they both are learning how to build a winning organization.  In the past, I would've had them both offering our 2009 and 2010 first rounders and LaRon Landry for Jason.  My, my, my how things have changed.   We're on our way yaw'll.

Hail To The Redskins.  11-5 at the least now.

ps- I also expect Andre Carter to go to the Pro Bowl this year simply because of the double teams Jason Taylor will command...what do you think?

Hi Allison,

I hope everything goes well with Gurvir and her pregnancy.  I still can't believe she's having twins.  She looks so tiny on television.

However, it is absolutely great waking up in the morning and seeing you on the screen.  You are so hottt.  I don't know how Steve sits beside you.  He and the camera-men gotta be the luckiest dudes on the planet.  Imagine getting paid to follow you around the studio?  haha. You definitely got the news on lock in the mornings.  And the smile is so, so divine.  You sure you and Gurvir can't flip flop when she comes back?

Stay beautiful.  I love the clothes and hairstyles all this week.  You're a straight goddess.

Take care,

koko bagginz ,#1 fan of Allison's

ps-I see Julie's even bringin it as well.  She looks great.  Her tan is all of it and I just saw her dancing before briefing us on traffic.  Too funny.

So, I'm in my house sitting here on my computer and I hear reality television episodes on all throughout the house.  My daughter loves it. My son loves it.  Even the wife likes this garbage.  Not my soulmate.  NOOOOOOO!   Unbelievable.  She says the news depresses her, so I ask, "you mean to tell me you'd rather watch Puffy put a bunch of dudes together to form a boy group or watch Simon crush a persons dream to sing?"  Are you serious?  How can you be depressed when Allison and Allyson are giving you late breaking news?  They look at me like I'm the one with the problem.  Is it me?

Am I the only person on the planet who would prefer real actors and actresses, whether comedy, action or drama, instead of viewing supa close-up shots of boring people who can't sing, who look like they haven't showered in months, are just waking up regretting what they did, who can't act, party in a 4 person jacuzzi with 12 people, get drunk off coke and grenedine and have absolutely no life what-so-ever?

I watched Babel on ON DEMAND the other day, and the wife and my babysista were looking at me like I was running a fever because I was into it.  Blackdudes don't watch movies like Babel?  What are yaw'll saying?  I guess because Rev Run and his fam weren't on there or Tyra wasn't teaching little girls how to work the runway, they weren't feeling it.  So, this is what it's come to, huh?

Traffic was a straight beast today coming from Southern Maryland because of the accident that happened earlier this morning.

I have two solutions for decreasing the traffic coming out of Southern Maryland, particularly Charles County.

a. extend the green line to at least Brandywine or Waldorf.

b. Build the overpasses that Camp Springs and Clinton have.

It's that simple.

So you're the General Manager of a brand new expansion NFL football team.  You have a meeting with the Owner, your head coach and his offensive and defensive coordinators.  You believe the first draft pick you select will be the cornerstone of your organization for years to come.  What position do you draft for, when you're on the clock?

Also, in this situation is it better to draft offense, defense or most talented player on the  draft board?

I swear I honestly don't know this...

Can anyone tell me what we would call former President Bill Clinton, if his wife wins the presidential crown?  I know the wife is always referred to as the First Lady, but what would his title be?

Thanks.

Ok, so Sunday night, I did everything I needed to do, so I could be in front of the television by 9pm to catch what had been one of my favorite television shows in recent years, The Wire.

After the Wire ended, I sat there wondering, "is that it?" Are you kidding me?  You mean to tell me the creators went out like that?  Here is a powerfully created drama depicting life in the inner cities, the harbors, the precincts, the schools, the pressrooms, and even the political offices and the best you guys can do is come up with last night's show?  Are you kidding me?  We're talking about the Wire.  We're talking about a show that had people talking about it the very next morning in schools and at various job sites.  This show was educating millions of people on day to day life in various parts of B-more and this it?  You guys wanna pull the cord after showing this episode?  Is this a joke?  Talk about being Punk'd.  Unbelievable.

Why do I feel like Stringer Bell and Omar died for nothing?  Why do I feel like this particular episode made thousands of youngstaz think they can pull a Marlo now?   More importantly, why did the last show of a remarkable 5 year season feel like Hollywood's fingerprints were all over it?  For the first time in the shows existence, the rawness which kept it real and life-like pulled a Houdini on it's viewers.  Unreal.

Ok, so I got that off my chest.  You tell me though am I luncheon or was The Wire some straight up garbage?

I definitely understand what the fans of The Sopranos are going through.

I must admit my knowledge and passion for basketball is nowhere near football but I'm interested in what sport-fans think when it comes to MJ and Kobe.  In my opinion Kobe is slowly starting to narrow the gap between he and Jordan.

Jordan in my eyez is the best player to ever play the game.  He's had the biggest impact on the game.  I don't believe there will ever be anyone who will have the same kind of impact.  I know some say Wilt was the best since he gave'um 100pts one time. Some may even feel Magic since he was talented enough to play all 5 positions.  I've been watching Kobe for a minute now and this dude seems to be taking Jordan's all around game to a new level.

Do you think Kobe will eventually be the best basketball player to ever play the game?

I gotta ask my fellow Skinz fans this one question.  Isn't it refreshing to hear absolutely NOTHING from our beloved "maroon and black" and the newly crowned, Z-Man?  Could it be after years of spiking the kool-aid and serving it to us in dirty shot glasses that Mr. Synder and his sidekick, Vinny KnowNot have finally learned that the best way to enjoy kool-aid is to leave it be?  Unreal.  These are truly exciting times.

Seems like it's been years since we've had multiple draft picks on the first day of the draft.  I may actually have to fall back on my cervaza(beer) intake to see what our newly crowned king/coach will actually do with his "precious" draft choices.  I hope he understands that his draft decisions on April 26th and 27th will forever follow him.  I wonder if he feels any pressure yet.  Don't worry.  I do.

I have to say that I am already impressed that we have not made the "predictable splash" we normally would've made around this time of year.  I just knew Randy Moss or Chad Johnson would be standing behind our 3 Super Bowl trophies stating how they were looking forward to joining a class-act organization, while giving the fans what they want.  I thought for sure Alan Faneca would praise Disco Danny for diggin deep, when the Steelers wouldn't.  I even thought we'd sneak one under the radar and steal Justin Smith from Cincy and give him Dexter's old jersey number for good luck.  What?  Silence.  How refreshing it is.

I'm ashamed to say it but I even thought, wow! Even gas prices are affecting Mr. Synder's usage of the Redskins One jet.  Remember when 87 was like $1.13 a gallon?

However, as coveted free agents slowly started to disappear off the radar, it finally dawned on me.  Our owner might actually be learning how to properly build a football team.  All those intimate conversations with Coach Gibbs about God, checkered flags, Jerry Jones and 40 gut have finally paid off.  Maybe.  Time will tell but still...

How refreshing it is to hear absolutely NOTHING...

Hey Allison,

If that is your sick look, you have nothing to worry about.  You are still shutting down the game even at 70%.  Trust me.   Tony, stay away from Allison.  Just kidding.

How come Tony is sick so much?  It seems to me like he's always fighting a cold.  That man should never get sick.  Being the weather man, I would think he would know when to wear a hat and when to wear shorts.  You should have an immune system that rivals Wolverine's.  Tony, I hope you're taking your vitamins.

Love the show guys.

I am eagerly awaiting Jill Scott's brand new cd, THE REAL THING, Words and Sounds, Vol. 3.  In a world of predictable hip-hop and tired R&B songs destined for remixes with Lil Wayne, I welcome Jilly with opened arms.

Of course, what would really be nice is if FOX5 could make arrangements to have Jill come into the studios and have Allison interview her.  hint, hint...

Now that would be pure bliss.

Hi Tony, Sue and Tucker,

I'm sure one of you have probably already discussed  this, but I never heard an answer.   This upcoming winter, are we due to get blasted with tons of snow?  Is 2007-2008 the year of the MOTHERLOAD?

I was born and raised in Suitland, Maryland. A true suburbanite. I have a pet pirahna fish named Tragedy who's been with me since 1994. I work as a statistician, but I hate math. I am a die hard Washington Redskins fan. Sean Taylor#21 will always be a god to me. I love sci-fi movies. Particularly, Star Wars. I love all music but neo-soul and east-coast hip hop is my choice. I hate reality television shows. Besides, my lovely wife, my 3 favorite women in the world are Halle Berry, Jill Scott and FOX 5's Allison Seymour. These lovely women can do no wrong in my eyez.
